“"OMG, the service today was absolutely incredible! A massive shout out to Owen and Emily, who were a brilliant 'double act' on the floor. They were funny, laughing, and had great banter with each other and us guests. It created a fantastic atmosphere—exactly what you need from a bar experience. The best part is that while they were joking around and making our time amazing, they were still incredibly efficient and managed to get everything done perfectly. The service was top-notch! We were a table of four and ordered the big platter, which was the best food ever! A huge thank you and shout out to the chef as well. Absolutely incredible experience all around. Thank you so much, Owen, Emily, and the chef!"”

“Went to Millsy's for dinner with a group of friends. It was a large booking and the reservation team was very helpful and flexible with changes to the booking. Our table was spacious and very comfortable for everyone. The menu has plenty of options. Tried the liver paté to start which was absolutely delicious. For main went for the pork belly and a side of mozzarella sticks. Everything was made fresh and delicious. The dessert was a bread and butter pudding which was perfect. The portions are quite large. Their cocktails are delicious too! Staff are very friendly and quick, food arrives promptly as well. That night there was live music so that made the whole ambiance very nice. Overall very good experience”

“Fifty of us came for our Christmas lunch. Room was nicely decorated and set out perfectly for our guests. Food was hot and delicious and the staff were amazing. Everything worked like clockwork. A totally hassle free time for our organisers and a thoroughly enjoyable time for all our guests.”

“Went for a mid-week meal with a friend. We both had the sea bass. It was amazing. The pub seemed busy for a mid-week evening which is nice to see during the current cost of living crisis. That is a positive sign. The staff were very helpful and attentive throughout the evening.”

“My 2 sons and I did the bottomless brunch. The food was delicious - some of the best currys we've ever tasted, and the naan breads weren't the usual stodgy mass, but slightly crispy and full of flavour. The bottomless drinks were premium - including draught Guinness, Cobra and Alpacalypse. We enjoyed plenty of these as well as limitless prosecco, and my eldest also had a glass of red wine. The owner is a delightfully friendly lady, who makes a point of visiting each table to have a chat with all of her patrons. It's my third visit - first bottomless brunch - and we'll certainly be back.”

“We had a lovely lunch..the food exceeded our expectations. I don't eat out much as i am often disappointed in restaurant vegan food but the rainbow lasagne was very good. It took us a while to work out you had to order from the bar.”

“A credit to the village. I live in the village and used to use the Granville a lot years ago. But it changed hands a lot and went down hill badly. Last year Jennie and her team took the pub on and have made it into the village hub. The work and efforts they have put in to make it into the village pub we all needed and love is fantastic. We now visit weekly with the kids and the food is fantastic and atmosphere is amazing. They accommodate for all ages, friends and families. We can now even go down on a Saturday night when we don’t have the kids and there’s always music of all types and we can have a dance and a great time. It’s a gem in the village to have for everyone and brings the whole community together.”

“Stayed here because I was heading to SWB Motorsports, its less than a mile away. The Dun Cow was busy when we stayed, maybe due to Christmas, but more likely because the staff were so friendly, despite being busy. We had evening meals and breakfast - fantastic choice of food, happy to make small changes on the menu to meet your needs, very alert to any allergens. Our room, the Draycote, could accommodate a family if required, had a very clean and enormous shower room and the most gloriously uneven, quirky floor due to the age of the building. The bed was really comfy (I like a firm mattress) which helped me sleep quite soundly, it covered up the only downside (my husband heard the traffic) of being alongside a busy crossroads.”

“What a lovely find on booking.com for my overnight stay for work purposes. I didn't eat here because I'd eaten on route due to my work load but was greeted with a friendly receptionist & very welcoming. The room is big and a huge TV which is perfect because normally a box standard TV in other establishmentd I use. There was a note in my room that the ground floor is currently being refurbished. So, I'll definitely revisit to see . It was also lovely and quiet stay .”

“Really good family pub. I don’t normally leave reviews unless I’m particularly impressed and I am here. Ticks all the boxes, play area, colouring and crayons for the kids. A decent pint, nice traditional but well kept decor with indoor and outdoor background music. The food is really good and incredibly cheap & great value. The icing on the cake is the staff and service. Young well mannered and helpful people who are a credit to the establishment. Well done, We’l definitely be back.”

After following the signs I found it Guys working there are super friendly and chatty I had a chicken tikka wrap Wow Really fresh and well cooked chicken Salad was fresh too Great flavour and was all super fresh.
