“We were greeted by Kidd as soon as we entered the store. He asked what we were interested in and when we said a new mattress he asked what we were using at the minute and what we were hoping to change it to. He did an analysis then gave us a clean pillow each (which smelt amazing) and got us to try out different beds. He was happy for us to go back to ones we’d already tested to make sure we were happy with our choice. He provided us with coffee and water straight away. His customer service was brilliant(no pressure selling at all) and made us both feel very comfortable during our time in the store. He also told us about the 100 day return if we weren’t happy and needed to try it for something else. Would definitely use that store again. Thank you for great service!”

A kindly and knowledgeable young lady took us through the various types, styles, designs, sizes and cloth weaves for riser chairs available. We could spend as long as we liked trying the comfortable seating in order to choose the one that we liked the best. Also, care was taken to ensure the proper measurements and appropriate fit was chosen for the person for whom it was to be bought. A costly choice by any measure, but hopefully rewarding with comfort into old age.”

“After being burned by a couple of furniture pieces from online stores that had either been badly carved, poorly made or MDF with wooden doors - I was so happy with this sideboard. It’s beautiful. Solid wood, lovely carving, great quality. Delivery was smooth. They carried it into the room, unwrapped it and took away the packaging (rather than just dumping it at the kerbside like so many companies do now). Would definitely recommend and trust this store.”

“Recently had JPL design and fit our new kitchen, they have been incredibly easy to deal with from the first call, they turned up when they said they would, they were flexible with arranging the appointments in their showroom to go through designs, JP gave us ideas we hadn't even thought about and more importantly were able to design and manufacture the units we wanted exactly to our specifications including manufacturing a corner unit that fit into an old alcove utilising all the space exactly how we wanted! The team arrived exactly on the time and date they said they would, ripped out the old kitchen we inherited when we bought the house, rewired the kitchen, added more plugs, reboarded the ceiling, replastered all the walls, fitted the kitchen plumbed everything in and left our house clean and tidy at the end of each day! I wouldn't hesitate using JPL and intend to have them do our bedrooms and a media centre in our livingroom in the new year! Fantastic products and personalised customer service!”

Drinks menu is great here including plenty of great options for those not drinking alcohol. “Went for Mother’s Day and had a nice lunch. Shame the price inflates so much just because of this day, same food different day. Pie was good, pork belly not crispy and a bit of a let down. Desserts were good, chocolate & salted caramel tart was nice. Service was slow, had to ask for drinks and the bill multiple times. Not really an excuse being Mother’s Day, it’s expected to be busy. Would try again though.”
