“Went here yesterday 18th dec for some hot drinks before panto at the priory theatre. 5 adults 2 teens and a 6 year old. The man serving us (didn’t catch his name) couldn’t be more accommodating, very friendly and helpful and enthusiastic he took our order, made suggestions on drinks including which size would be best for the little one and then found us a lovely table, the waitress (also didn’t catch her name) young girl was lovely, the vibe felt very welcoming and the hot drinks were really cheap and the hot chocolates had cream and marshmallows which were offered I didn’t have to ask like in most places. Will deffo be back hopefully for food next time”

“A wonderful pub in the shadow of Kenilworth Castle that serves huge plates of excellent pub grub for very reasonable prices. Friendly efficient staff and lovely real ale. Do go there if you're in the area. Probably best to book to ensure a table as it was almost full when we were there.”

“We were very hungry visitors to the town. Never visited before, and was on the look out for a full English, we were actually heading to find somewhere else but this caught my eye. Never heard of it before but have since learnt that they have many around the country. Welcome and service was exceptional. We had a person with an allergy with us and the staff were very thorough and made us all feel at ease. Allergy menu available on line and easy to see. Food arrived and it didn't disappoint at all. Great portion with a bit of everything on it and it was amazing. Thank you to Liliana for being an enthusiastic, helpful, chatty ray of sunshine and making it all the more special. Hopefully be back again soon.”

“My husband and I use Costa at Coleshill because its local but we've also now built up good rapport with the staff in there Alexi, Lillie, Molly, Abbie and Jake and the other girls. We enjoy the atmosphere and banter. I feel comfortable to go in there on my own because they make me feel welcome. We've been to other Costa's but Coleshill is our favourite. If the staff left we'd probably go elsewhere.”

“We were staying nearby and had been advised that Rice and Spice was worth a visit. We tried it and were not disappointed. We had a set meal for two. We didn't have to wait long, and the food was very hot and delicious. The set menu offered a good balance of dishes and there was plenty of food for two. I will go again when I am next in the area.”

The waiting staff are absolutely lovely, we were served by Raphaël and another gent (I’m sorry we didn’t get your name), both provided excellent service. The 6 course tasting menu we did was also amazing value for what we were given. The fish stew was my absolute favourite course, but the harissa carrot soup and chocolate mousse were close runners up. “Got to be one of the best breakfasts in Coventry. Nice to see when so many places are closing that a new business has started up and is making a real go of it. And successfully by the looks of it with the busy stream of happy regulars. Seems to be popular with builders but this place is nothing like a traditional greasy spoon, as the place is clean, bright and modern. Highly recommended.”
