“I was treated at Derby Royal Hospital Cancer and Specialist Services, attending Combined Day Unit- CDU, Specialist Outpatient Department - SPOD, Combined Triage Assessment Unit - CTAU and Ward 303 during my cancer treatment. The care I received throughout was exceptional and truly of the highest standard. The nurses and doctors were consistently kind, supportive and genuinely caring, which made an incredibly difficult time much easier to get through. I’m not good with needles, and the nurses were always very considerate of this during treatment and blood tests, taking the time to reassure me and make the process as comfortable as possible. The nurses listened to my needs incredibly well and treated me with real compassion and respect at every step. The district nurses involved in my care were also extremely compassionate and understanding, which meant a great deal to me and my family. It is easy to find, with a nice large car park, & the building is spacious & well laid out, with a wonderful treatment room. You are instantly put at ease with Ceri Anne, who is kind, friendly & professional , making you feel confident in the treatments she will be giving. Gentle/soothing music is played whilst you relax & enjoy an hours treatment, incorporating some meditation which makes the experience even more relaxing. I would highly recommend trying the reflexology, even if it's something you haven't tried before, as it truly helps to deal with the stresses of daily life, work etc!!”

“I would give them 10 stars if I had the option! Being a first time working-mom, I was so clueless which nursery would be good, but believe me, I am sooooo happy I chose this place!!!! My daughter was a late settler- she took a while to settle but once she did, it has become her second home! She has been coming for approx 2 years now- no complaints! They have a million activities for kids to do, they take care of their dietary needs, safety, and nap times! Even the admin team is really helpful. Her support has always been amazing and she has an incredible passion in helping others. This counselling service are very LGBTQ+ friendly, so if you know anybody struggling with their gender or identities and would feel counselling is an option , I would look no other place than Adolescent Well-being. I needed counselling during my transition and she was so understanding , accepting and helpful . With Annie’s support, I am happier and my mind is healthier . I recommend for anyone and everyone , if I could give more than 5 stars I would .”
