He explains things calmly and clearly, and he makes you feel at ease - I never once felt rushed. The reception staff are also brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. On a logistical note, the parking is great too.”

“The staff at Winshill Medical Practice are outstanding, that is my overall impression. My elderly mother, Joyce changed to this practice only a few years ago as she had been a patient at Wetmore Road surgery for most of her life. She had absolutely no regrets about moving practice, and wished she had done it years ago. All staff from the reception staff to the senior GP put their patient's first. Arranging an appointment was quick and easy to do. Both my sister and I accompanied our mother on several appointments with the GP and we felt my mother was listened to and treated with respect.. I wish to thank all the staff for the kindness.”

“Lovely staff. Very clean and airy there. Separate area for cats, away from the dog area, so the cats feel safe. The dog area isn't visible from the cat area. We saw the vet Mr Anders, he was lovely and very caring to my daughters cat and my daughter. Likes to look after the pets parents as well as the pet. I highly recommended him.”

“I cannot fault the care and attention received at Derby Children’s Hospital. I arrived at A&E yesterday with my son who was having some pains. We were seen almost instantly and the staff in children’s A&E were absolutely lovely, friendly and attentive. My son was triaged before I even parked the car (he’s 12) and send straight through where he was seen after around 10 minutes. The nurses called the surgeons to examine him and within 1 hour of being at the hospital my son was being prepped for a surgery. 2 hours later and he was in surgery. Every single member of staff we encountered was pleasant, kind, compassionate and not once did we feel like a job or a burden. We were on the Puffin ward for the night following the surgery and again it was clean and friendly and we didn’t have to ask for anything. Staff were always one step ahead. The doctor came to say goodbye and wish us well as the shift changed and the anaesthetist came 2 hours after his shift finished just to say good bye and check on my son in the ward. From A&E staff, nurses, doctors, carers and the brilliant anaesthetists and surgeons - you are all heroes. The care my son received was outstanding and as a parent I could not ask for more. My son is home and recovering well now but a huge THANK YOU to Derby children’s hospital.”
