“We were visiting Tutbury, and stumbled across this lovely café. We only had drinks but even those were nice. The caramel latte is my favourite ☕ The staff were helpful and friendly. The toilets are on the left hand side of the café, and we're spacious and clean. I would recommend this café.”

“Gorgeous pizza in a lovely atmosphere plus great tunes as added bonus. They use ingredients from their allotment and stone milled organic grains for their dough which is so tasty even on its own. I had fig and goats cheese, can't express how delicious it is. There's a wide selection of organic wine to sip while you wait. Me and my friends had a great time! (Also the rye chocolate cookies are like heaven).”

“Step towards this restaurant and be transported instantly to a wonderful Greek experience. From the groups sat outside conversing to the warm family atmosphere inside. The service from Sofia and Elvis was excellent, food was lovely and reminiscent of dining in a family home in Greece. “Took my little boys for pizza after school today, owner kindly suggested having the margarita pizza in a cute bear shape. He also kindly let me try a bit of the pesto sauce on one of the “ears”. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza. Both were fantastic, perfect amount of sauce and cheese! I’d pick fireaway pizza over the other two market leaders any day.”

“Had a lovely experience yesterday! Very family friendly (we had a pram, and they put out a baby change for us). The service was very good. The little finishing touches of bringing cutlery on a plate and sauce on a little side plate, too, made it a more pleasant experience. Food is an amazing value for money! “From just looking at the menu the food seems really basic and overpriced and I do find it difficult to justify spending £9.95 on lunch (with the small portion option) but while the ingredients are simple the portion you get for small is filling and as they say the ingredients truly are fresh and delicious. My favourites were the daal and hot potatoes. The main protein I had, chicken breast, seemed bland at first glance but actually tasted very good. Unfortunately I forgot to take additional pictures below the top layer. I think I'd only get this for lunch on special occasions but I think I would get the better value medium for dinner more often, I can't imagine finishing a medium bowl in one sitting. 2: I finally found an excuse to go again and it was really good. I had the salmon this time, which cost £2.50 extra ! It was quite good, a touch fishy. I had the daal, chicken curry, beef rice thingy. It was all quite filling and good.”

“We were hoping for something a little different for a treat and after finding this place rang before ordering to check they could accommodate a very picky child. They were incredibly friendly and polite on the phone, the food was still hot when it arrived and was packaged really well (even the hot chocolate survived an uber driver getting lost). It was absolutely delicious, roasts were crispy,meat melted in your mouth, and the gravy and Yorkshires were perfect. Honestly couldn't fault a thing if we wanted to.”

“My partner and I rang up to book a table late on bank holiday Sunday and luckily they squeezed us in. First time visiting and it is a lovely setting a small restaurant, it doesn't have much branding on the outside but looks like they have a lot of regulars! Staff were lovely prices were very reasonable and the food was lush! Good portion sizes too! My only quarrel is that the steak cheese burger I had said it was American cheese but it was more of a sauce (see in my photo) than a cheese slice which wasn't to my taste but that is more of a preference and just something I thought I'd make people aware of. Lovely restaurant!”

“We ordered big plate of different Indian dishes The Badshah Platter and we wasn't dissapointed at all. All food was tasty, especially masala chips and Malai Garlic Tikka bought me :) We had to wait around 30min to get food but we didnt feel that to be honest. Price was fair enough for 4 people. We didnt order any desserts as we were full. Definietly recommend this place, will back next time for sure.”

“It's taken us ages to actually get round to booking a table but decided to take our friend here for his birthday. We were really impressed with the food and the service. I had a steak which was cooked perfectly and the chips and onion rings were amazing. The rest of the meals were great and it's a lovely atmosphere and the staff were lovely. To top it off they even brought out a surprise dessert with a candle on for the birthday boy. Thanks for a great meal.”
