“I’ll be honest, I hadn’t ordered for a while as felt the standard had slipped however a friend ordered on Thursday night and raved about it and we were not disappointed on Saturday when we got a takeaway. Order was hot and really fresh - delighted!! Booked a table to come for a special meal before Christmas too and can’t wait.”

“Itison dinner deal. An itison deal took us back to Bistro du Vin for 3 courses & a glass of Prosecco. The restaurant was fairly busy but not packed and there were plenty of staff. There was a bit of confusion over what menu we were on by the waiter which meant we were looking at the wrong menu before I queried this and it was then changed, a bit embarrassing for us. After our order was placed it seemed to take ages for our starters to arrive , service from then was slow and customers were raising there hands all evening to try and get the attention of waiting staff. This was a bit strange as staff were always free and standing in a huddle. The food as usual was good and the atmosphere pleasant just need the service to improve.”

“Great service. Fantastic authentic food. I recommend the mixed grill for 2 with fresh naan. Also tried the lamb biryanis which was excellent. Toilets clean service within 15 mins on a busy Friday night.”

“Amazing! Had afternoon tea with a gift voucher and it was delicious. Said I was vegetarian and was not a problem to get all veggie sandwiches. Scones were warm which was a nice touch. Good selection of cakes and all lovely. Staff were really nice and food came quick.”

“Only been here once it's a small paper shop has Indian foods but mostly cigarettes alcohol sweets crisps ice creams at the door and loo rolls. fridge full of all types of juice. Can't say I noticed much more .”

“Great staff Marta and Kuba were very helpful i got a szynka and it was so fresh ive chucked it in the śmietnik. I recommend this shop as its really big and has so many flavours of czekolada. Its the best shop in the whole ziemia. Ps. Ciapaty to bardzo spoko gość”

“Has almost everything you need. I say almost because it does not sadly have my favourite apple jack toy. Would not recommend to my little pony eboys. Go if you like baby shark though. Very good place though. 4 stars”

“If you're looking for the Ritz, go stay at the Ritz and pay for the Ritz. I stay at hotels all the time for work and this Holiday Inn is one of the nicest Holiday Inns I have stayed at. Our room was comfortable and updated. The bathroom is small but expected for being in Europe. It was clean and completely acceptable. The lobby area is updated and welcoming. The fitness room is great with all the equipment needed for a decent workout. The breakfast is wonderful and worth the extra we paid for it. I read reviews that the restaurant food is great and that is accurate. Whoever is running that restaurant and making the food is doing a great job. The food is excellent! The pool and hot tub are ok but better than not having anything. The bus stop is right outside and takes you into town in about 20 minutes.....so convenient. A family day pass is 12£ (2 adults, 3 children). If you want a nice place to stay with good food but you don't want to pay the prices of being downtown, this is the place for you.”

“Today, we had our dinner from Navayas. It was excellent, and the food was freshly prepared and of very high quality. The naan bread was delicious, and the curries were great too. The service was friendly, and the shop looked very hygienic. While you are waiting, you can see them prepare your meal. I highly recommend eating here.”

“At around 4.00am this morning(Friday 15th) I had the best service from the guy working in this garage! My exhaust was hanging off and I was quite distressed as to what to do and how I'd get back to Dunfermline. He came out and helped me straight away, got my exhaust off and all the while was so lovely! My knight in shining armour, please say a huge thankyou as I work for Tesco and know how people don't get enough recognition! Thankyou thankyou thankyou( I should have got his name!)”

“The plan was simple: find a budget hotel close to Edinburgh Airport — and it worked perfectly. The hotel met our expectations. The room was small but clean and functional, with a shower cabin and toilet. The mattress was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a bistro on the ground floor where you can have a drink, eat something, or buy takeaway food. Paid parking is available (a few pounds). The hotel is only about 8 minutes by car from the airport, which allowed us to catch our early morning flight without any issues and saved us a late-night trip to the airport. We will definitely use this hotel again if we need a convenient place to stay near the airport.”

“I really liked staying here on my trip. Everything I wanted to see was walking distance. The rooms was nice and clean and I liked that each bed had curtains and own light. I was staying in a 18 people room, and everyone was nice and respectful. Living on the fourth floor I was thankful for the elevator, as the walking in Edinburgh had my legs feeling very tired when I got home in the evening. The staff was so sweet and helpful, whenever I had questions. :)”

“In general, great store, spacious, with a wide range of variety and often at a competitive price, better than Tesco or Morrison's. Always get some great bargains even at George's. Never had an issue with self-service, the staff are helpful, too. Especially like the bakery section, where you can get tasty, fresh, palm-free products. Great they still have a sanitary station! My only issue is lack of goat's yoghurt for the third time, shame I keep having to go back to Tesco for this one item. Also, disabled toilet is always locked. Finally, the trolleys are hard to push except for the plastic ones, but they need a pound coin.”

“I had a really good experience in this store. I was really struggling with finding particular items and the manager Ryan walked around the store with me to find any items that I required. He then offered to help me through the till process as it was self service and I do not use self service tills often so this really made my day. He is a glowing employee with great customer service. He is an exceptional example of how an M&S employee should be. I would definitely recommend this store if this employee is there to assist.”

“Absolutely fantastic thin crust pizza. The people who rate this lower don’t know thin crust. It could use a bit more cheese but that is compensated for with the nice crust. No flop or wetness. Slice stays upright when you hold it. I give it 5 stars. The staff were also great”

“I had Szechuan chicken here and it was really good. It was way above and beyond any other Chinese takeaway dish I've had. Really good depth of flavour, felt like a restaurant dish. Tried ordering the same at various places since but others seem very bland in comparison. Recommended.”

“I placed an order via the Domino’s app and due to a glitch, my order accidentally went through twice and I was charged twice. Fortunately, I received a prompt call from Shalik, who noticed the duplication and took the time to confirm whether both orders were intentional. Thanks to Shalik’s attention to detail and quick response, the extra order was cancelled and a refund was processed without delay. On top of that, the pizza and garlic bread were absolutely delicious — hot, fresh and just what I needed. Really appreciated the excellent service and the great food. Thank you, Shalik!”
