“Very good service from bisset & steedman delivering my new Indesit washing machine 48 hrs after i visited showroom. The machine i chose was on their database but not on the website so their selection is wider than i first thought. Very quiet inverter motor. Apologies to bisset for my 'pensioner techno error' when i somehow deleted my previous 5 star review from jan 2017 wash machine delivery.”

“This is an excellent company to deal with and I have no issues whatsoever after they completely rennovated my dated kitchen. The advice given by Terry when he came out to price and measure the work was knowledgeable and honest. The standard of workmanship by Danny and the installation team was first class. They came, they did the job really well then they left left. They were pleasant and approachable and there was none of the " we'll be back on three days to finish the job" nonsense. Operations were managed by the office supremo, Sarah, who dealt with coordination, payment and general admin. She is brilliant at getting things done and ensuring the smooth running of the work. Overall I have a lovely new high quality kitchen which cost far less than I had imagined and I would thoroughly recommend and thank Alba kitchens for their work.”

“Absolutely fantastic place for all door locks, handles and miscellaneous ironmongery. If you aren't sure what replacement lock/handle you need, take the old one along to them and they will either have an equivalent off the shelf or can order in the exact same part directly from the manufacturer.”

“Move On Wood Recycling provided helpful advice for our construction project at Music Base - large cupboards lining a corridor. They supplied construction timber and plywood at much lower prices than any timber merchant. Also, given that the timber had been used before, it was thoroughly seasoned and so any warping had already happened. This meant we could select pieces that were straight and likely to remain so. The plywood had been used for a science festival event and was painted maroon and off-white. Also, it still had the posters attached which we kept for the final finish of the cupboards to add interest - see image. Many thanks to Move On Wood Recycling.”

“I can’t praise Colin, Jenny and their team at Development Direct highly enough. When you look to take on a potentially expensive building project (installation of kitchen and bathroom which included the removal of structural walls) you would be concerned about the quality of workmanship that you contract. However, even from the initial discussion in their showroom I realised that I was dealing with a team that paid attention to detail. I had an awareness of what I required, but Colin and his team provided extensive guidance and advise on layouts, products and styles. They were excellent at answering all of my queries; in particular, I liked Colin’s comprehensive quotes and invoicing. This allowed for stress free control of the budget, and the flexibility for alterations or enhancements during construction. Their onsite team were excellent and, as mentioned by others, were always on time, left the site tidy and the workmanship was of the highest quality. And with Colin and his team as overall project managers, their in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the build made for easy discussion. Development Direct have created a wonderful addition to my home. Even after the project was completed, they have been helpful in following up any queries.
