“A great stopping point to acquire vehicular food. Close to the Queensferry crossing/Forth Bridges and offering much better fuel prices than motorway services. Nearby Tesco superstore offering huge selection of food and supplies.”
“Just getting petrol, but ladies at till were lovely”
“I can’t thank Little Waitrose at Shell Circle enough! On New Year’s night, when everything else was closed, I desperately needed baby diapers at midnight. To my relief, they had Pampers in stock—though the sizes were limited, it was exactly what I needed in a pinch. The convenience of this store, especially during odd hours, is unmatched. A true lifesaver when you're in a bind. Highly recommend for late-night essentials!”
“Has almost everything you need. I say almost because it does not sadly have my favourite apple jack toy. Would not recommend to my little pony eboys. Go if you like baby shark though. Very good place though. 4 stars”
“Excellent stuff 5/5 the young fella with blonde curly hair stocking the shelves with the headphone on was particularly helpful to me and my child, much appreciated, an absolute star. (Give him a raise)”
“All around great experience. In spite of a lack of basil, a very satisfactory visit. Very friendly staff, in particular Ben, who stepped up when I was struggling with carrying all my purchases and provided me with a basket while making a friendly and comedic comment once again making it a very enjoyable and memorable visit to my local Sainsbury’s.”
“Good shop and lovely staff. I too would appreciate more organic options though. Also, why do you make so much cheesy bread? More than once I've been in to get bread from the bakery and there is no plain bread left, but many a loaf of cheesy bread!”
“Great store to buy Indian vegetables, spices and condiments. Extremely friendly and helpful and the shop is always well stocked. Shiiyam goes out of his way to cater to the needs of his customers. He’s made sure that I’ve always had all the things needed for me to celebrate any Indian festival. Shopping there is always an enjoyable experience. Great place. I highly recommend!”
“Good local shop in Newtongrange. Has a bakery section and a good variety of fresh produce. Still has a one way system which can be a pain and very few people abide by this rule. Self serve tills which are great for quickness.”
“Have to say this is a great wee shop. Loads of choice and with the addition of the butcher amazing. The butcher is a little more pricey but you get really good quality produce. The recent addition of the cook range is also very welcome. Good selection of drink and not too pricey, in fact it's all pretty reasonable.”
“ Friendly well stocked shop for quick needs. Does have a good mix and a few goodies from a bakery. Hours are very convenient. Enjoy grabbing some fresh rolls, eggs, and black pudding! For a quick homemade breakfast before starting work. The selection is amazing and good for a quick grab. Few weekends back need some dippers and had size 6 in stock. Shop is friendly, quickly, readable, and really at the center of the village. I also enjoy the little locally crafted cards that gone on sale too :)!”
