“Ordered from Cotto Via tonight for the first time and all I can say is I wish we had found this place sooner. To say the food was outstanding would be an understatement!! Will definitely be a regular customer after tonight. 10/10 for customer service also - the staff could not have been nicer ❤️ If you’re thinking about ordering from here, DO IT. You will not be disappointed!!”
“We held a special christening lunch here and everybody raved about the food. Smiths were excellent at dealing with our dietary requirements and gave us ample space in the restaurant for comfortable eating as we had two babies in prams. Delighted we chose to spend our special day here and will return.”
“Quality over quantity with the menu as the options are falafel or hummus. Great lunch scran under blue skies for only a fiver”
“Best pizza in Scotland!! the owner is so nice and friendly, the waitress very helpful. Every pizza is so tasty and crunchy. Perfect!! Nice and cleaned place. High quality!!”
“Stumbled across this gem during a whistlestop stay in Glasgow. No fuss, great service, amazing food.”
“I enjoyed lunch here today. Food is well priced and service was alright. It’s a small Chinese food shop and the food is so fresh. It’s traditionally made so I liked that it didn’t taste like the typical ‘westernized’ Chinese takeaway. Food tasted fresh. The price is really fair tbh and the staff was helpful with the menu. The menu is very limited I must say. I wanted the shrimp dumpling but it wasn’t available, went for the shiitake ones and it was great. We spent £50 pounds and this covered tea, dumplings and mains and an extra serving of dumpling. Also the portion size is amazing and we ended up not finishing our portions.”
“The staff were incredibly friendly, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious – every dish was prepared with care and full of flavor. A true hidden gem and definitely a top spot worth visiting!”
“Best roll n sausage with onions I've had in a long time. Great cup of freshly ground coffee, none of your council coffee in there. Staff are really nice and friendly . Got a good menu. Will definitely be going back. You should give it a try”
“Just love this place! My go-to for pizza every time. The cakes and tray bakes are also incredible!”
“Amazing food, I had the chicken & cashews, my husband had the red Thai curry. Very happy with the service. Highly recommend. We’ll be back and also will be trying the take away too”
“This ramen spot was our first stop upon arriving in Glasgow, and it turned out to be a great choice for a quick and satisfying meal. While it appears to be part of a chain, the quality didn’t disappoint. I had the black garlic ramen, which was particularly enjoyable—the broth was rich and flavorful, and the meat was tender with a delightful crunch that added great texture. The atmosphere is casual and perfect for a laid-back dining. The service was also very attentive, making the visit even more pleasant. All in all, a solid option if you’re looking for a tasty, no-fuss ramen fix.”
“A wonderful experience! We opted for the 10 course summer menu with wines and were so pleased we did! A very warm welcome and with our 4.45pm slot the place was virtually empty on arrival so we were able to choose a lovely spot to sit before being guided through the menu by our friendly, knowledgeable server who was wonderful throughout and keen to chat with us about each course and wine and seemed genuinely interesting in our thoughts throughout. We opted for some delicious apperitifs as well. The menu itself was fantastic, I particularly enjoyed the melon gazpacho to start... a great start to a summer menu (and on such a hot day). I also really enjoyed the Mussels and Fregola dish. My husband loved the pork dish. We were both pleased to be proved completely wrong about what we thought our "top picks" would be. Wines were paired well and we enjoyed all of them; I was very surprised again by what I thought my favourite wine would be Vs what it actually was. I noticed the goats cheese dish was prepared/served very differently to what I've seen on their own social media but I can only imagine this is part of the development of these dishes/menus and it was absolutely stunning so not a complaint by any means! We got married on the first so travelled up to Scotland to visit some family for a "mini moon" and wanted to treat ourselves to a memorable evening out. This absolutely delivered and we felt was great value for money. If I was to find any minor criticism it would be that the music at points really didn't seem fitting for the setting... a wild playlist that rapidly fluctuated between "bangers" to more chilled music. That being said we actually found it quite funny but may not suit all diners!”
“I was given a gift voucher by my workmates for my birthday. They know I love seafood and my friend from work recommends this restaurant and goes regularly. My partner enjoys steak and so we decided on the Wednesday Surf 'n' turf menu. Absolutely excellent. The staff were attentive, conversational and cared about providing good service. Cosy and non pretentious. The food was exceptional. Every single element was cooked to perfection. The meal I had was one of the best I have ever had in any restaurant. They obviously care deeply about the quality of the food they serve. I'm now planning to return very soon for the full seafood experience This place is a gem!”
“Fabulous experience sampling The Mad Hatter's Tea Party menu. When each course is served it's expertly explained by serving staff and accompanied by a little theatre. Absolutely delicious food served in beautifully decorated surroundings. I have read some reviews indicating that the tables are extremely close together. This is true but we didn't find it overly intrusive. Overall a fantastic experience.”
“Meant to review this last week when we came for the first time. However, probably the best review we could give is to come back the following week (today) and then decide to make it our new regular. The food and wine is absolutely sublime. It is a one of a kind restaurant with 10/10 service. The staff are absolutely lovely, especially Scott. See you next week!”
“Great food, great service and such nice staff”
“The best pizza this side of Italy! Dog friendly area (small) by the door and we appreciate that, but the food here is just fabulous!”
“Moved to Larkhall in feb based on reviews I went to this shop. this was my first fish and chips big portion both special fish and battered I will be back for more could not complain at all”
“I had a amazing experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere is wonderful, providing the perfect setting for a delightful meal. The sushi is truly exquisite—beautifully prepared and incredibly fresh. The service is excellent, with staff who are both attentive and welcoming. A special mention goes to the sushi chef, who is not only highly skilled but also rather handsome! The sushi is a masterpiece, both in taste and presentation. I highly recommend a visit here—not only will you enjoy superb service and food, but you’ll also get the pleasure of watching a very talented and handsome chef in action. It’s well worth a visit!”
“I visited the restaurant on Saturday afternoon with my family, and as the only vegan in the group, my options were initially very limited. However, when I mentioned this to our server, Courtney, she went above and beyond. She spoke with the chef and came back with several options they could prepare specially for me, which I thought was incredibly kind. The chef made a delicious arrabbiata along with garlic bread made with olive oil instead of butter - simple but delicious. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was brilliant. As a vegan, I don’t always expect restaurants to accommodate me, so I was delighted by how thoughtful they were in offering alternatives. I would highly recommend this restaurant for both the food and the wonderful service.”
“A great place to visit, with 1st class food and service. Down visiting our Son and wanted to go out for dinner at short notice and somewhere where we could take our dog. They good news Little Ho answered our call. Table booked for 19.30 for 5 and Keeva the dog. Thoroughly recommend Little Soho as the food was excellent, great choice of starters, mains and desserts good portions, great service and atmosphere. A great night out. Thanks again to the owner(apologies I didn't catch your name) and the wonderful staff for great service and dining experience.”
“A perfect summer surprise at Oiishi. A longtime favourite that keeps getting better. My partner and I have been coming to Oiishi for over six years now, and not once have we left disappointed. This time, we decided to try their new summer tasting menu for my birthday, a bit of a change from our usual favourites, and we were pleasantly surprised. The experience was beautifully paced, allowing us to really savour each dish as it arrived. The summer menu gave us the chance to try things we might never have ordered otherwise, and it opened our eyes to some fantastic new flavours. Highlights included the melt-in-your-mouth wagyu beef, the delicate and refreshing ebi summer rolls, and the beautifully presented tuna tartare. Every bite was thoughtful and refined. We ended the evening with a refreshing mango sorbet, which came with a delightful little surprise, a perfect way to round off what was a special birthday date night. If I had to pick a negative, which ultimately wasn’t a negative as it still tasted delicious as it is, was the Chilled Ramen with Volcano sauce didn’t have a lot of spice to it. We were expecting to have a kick of heat but it wasn’t there. The staff were exceptional throughout, attentive, informative, and welcoming. Each dish was introduced with care, and a personal visit from the chef to check on our experience was a warm and much-appreciated gesture. For the quality and variety, the summer menu is excellent value. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for a relaxed, high-quality tasting experience that offers both comfort and creativity, we can’t recommend Oiishi enough.”
“The staff went above and beyond, assisted me with decorations and had a vegan diet with no coriander and a group of 13 adults, they did amazing, the food was amazing, drinks. I would highly recommend and we celebrated my mother's 80th birthday in still at Jimbu, thank-you to all the staff that made this happen. Tracey”
“What a delight to eat at this beautiful restaurant. My husband and I turned up without reservations today after a tough morning following a bereavement to try and take our minds off our sadness. The restaurant owner pulled out all the stops to find us a table, and his kind and friendly manner instantly lifted our spirits. The food was the best we have ever eaten, the staff were so attentive and clearly very happy in their work, and the other customers were obviously in their happy places too. Incredible dining experience in a truly welcoming place full of joy, and heart, and hope. Thank you so much x”
“Italian restaurant in Motherwell. Lovely setting. Busy but seats spread out. Attentive servers, fabulous food, very big portions. Nice atmosphere. I had the soup of the day (Chicken), spaghetti bolognese (partner had the steak) and vanilla fudge sundae (my partner had the sticky toffee pudding) 9/10 look forward to coming back soon.”
“Really nice risotto and pizza. Pistachio meringue needs a rethink it was hard and very dry, but lovely staff, free liqueur at end and my salmon risotto was delicious. Wine nicely chilled. 2 courses and bottle wine for 2 was 60 quid so very reasonable.”
“A warm and welcoming spot with delicious food and great service. The mushrooms were crispy, and bibimbap sauce as well as the kimchi were definitely the highlights - the flavours were well-balanced and complimented the meal. It was also my first time trying hotteok and it was amazing, went really well with the ice cream. This will be my go-to for future Glasgow visits.”
“Booked for early lunch (2pm) as fully booked for later in the day, staff very friendly and accommodating, food was first class (tiger prawns with spaghetti, haddock with tiger prawns) only minor issue was limited wine by the glass but can understand why restaurant's do it. Reasonably priced for quality of food and service, will definitely return but book in advance.”
“Excellent atmosphere with friendly service and reasonable prices!”
