“My family and I had an exceptional experience at the Emirates Lounge in Glasgow Airport. Despite our flight being delayed by 40 minutes, we didn't mind the extra time because the lounge offered such a luxurious and comfortable atmosphere. From the moment we entered, the staff were amazing—warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. They made sure we had everything we needed and were always available to assist with a smile. The lounge itself is beautifully designed, with a calm and sophisticated ambiance that made it easy to relax. The food options were excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes that catered to different tastes. We were particularly impressed by the quality and freshness of everything served. One of the standout features was the dedicated prayer room, which was a thoughtful touch for travelers who wish to pray in a quiet, private space. The bathroom facilities were also immaculate—so clean and well-maintained that they felt like a sanctuary where you could easily spend extra time freshening up. Adding to the overall experience was the stunning view of the runway. Watching airplanes take off and land while enjoying the comfort of the lounge made the wait for our flight feel like a special part of the journey. In summary, the Emirates Lounge at Glasgow Airport exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of excellent service, luxurious amenities, and a peaceful atmosphere made it a highlight of our trip. We almost wished our flight was delayed longer!”

“I stayed at The Abbey Inn 17/5:/25 and it was a very hot day so sat in the busy outside area and had a great afternoon whilst my room was being prepped I was out our that I couldn't get in till 3pm however as it was so lovely I had a couple of drinks and got chatting to a nice couple. It was extremely busy and I have to highly praise the fantastic staff and kitchen staff as I saw food was flying out and it looked fantastic. The atmosphere was great and the staff worked so hard. Onto the room now as I was on my own it was a single bed and though the room was small it had everything it was beautifully decorated and a fantastic large TV. Although it was very hot the room was lovely and cool and I used the fan provided which was great.. The bed was awesome just so comfortable and the bed linen just spectacular and pillows Lovely soft carpet and great tea and coffee facilities and a thing lacking in many top hotels Plenty of mirrors ladies!!! also immaculate bathroom and a great shower. I would recommend everything in the Abbey I loved it very much. Thanks so much x”

“Husband ordered burger, no burger left 7pm on a Saturday night, bit disappointed however, he had chicken burger instead, I had chicken fajitas, we had pulled pork loaded fries, brownie&ice cream for desert, omg all amazing, we were served by Ben, i think, who was attentive without being intrusive, polite and an asset to the mucky duck, great example of customer service. Food was best I've had in a long time and very reasonably priced”

“The Crown Bar was an absolute lifesaver. On 27/10/2023 we had booked the Ferguslie Bowling Club for a wedding party of 30 only to show up to find they had been double booked. However the Crown Bar, after a quick phone call advised they had a separate bar as a function room that could fit up to 45. No deposit required and they moved mountains to accommodate us at a moment's notice. The staff were wonderful and the space was lovely, we were allowed to decorate and use the existing lights and utilise the sound system if needed. Cheap drinks, a vast selection as well and they even suggested we could order food in if we wanted to. Staff and venue were fantastic cannot praise them enough for saving the day. Especially last minute on a Friday night for a group of 30.”

“The Balnagowan Arms is a great bar/lounge, owners are so welcoming. They have darts n karaoke. It's always busy. On Neilston Road. Honestly go in n you will be felt very welcome. Enjoy one n all.”

“My colleague and I stopped to get some food here before our flight. I ordered the half chicken with the habernaro sauce (very hot) and my colleague had the fish and chips. We were served by Abbie who was very gracious and attentive. She made sure our meals came out quickly, checked whether the spice level was okay for me, and had a warm, positive attitude that really stood out.”

“Fantastic meal & great service. Very attentive even though the bar was so busy, made sure we all enjoyed our meal & our drinks were always topped up. Steak frites were so good we went back a few days later for lunch! Can’t wait for our next visit. Fantastic addition to Paisley!”

“I would give the service a 10 if I could. Staff are always so pleasant and helpful every time we visit. Mags, couldn't have been any nicer to my elderly mother in law today, making her experience a very nice one. Food is lovely as it always has been on our previous visits . “Visited here for the first at the weekend, great pub and the food was outstanding. Cannot fault the staff, great customer service and very friendly. This was also the case when it was really busy with the over 30s disco in the function room. We bought a ticket as there was some spare and had a fantastic night. Will definitely visit again and I cannot wait to see what other events they put on.”

“An absolutely amazing experience within a gem of gaming facility. The gaming floor is open plan and lots of different area to sit and chill or have meal and get back down to playing on the machines. The staff are very friendly from coming into the reception to going upstairs to meet the staff on the gaming floor. It is well worth a visit especially if your looking to have special night out.”

Price for a round was good, and the choice of snacks kept us happy, though the staff let us bring in food from down the road. “Great weekend pub karaoke bands on a Sunday. Great quiz every Thursday at 9.30.lots of laughs.also some really good staff who look after you with a smile and make sure your night ends in a taxi home if needed. Come along and give us a try”

“I am unaware of any food served so ive just put that down as five stars. On the point of service and atmosphere, this is the place to be if you are looking a real view of Paisley. Many local workers come here for the odd drink and the staff are not only friendly but hospitable, something oddly fleeting in the hospitality industry. This bar may nit seem like much from the outside, though within is a melting pot of the many types of people around Paisley and more specifically The West End. I do not just reccommend but implore you to enjoy this pub if you are to visit Paisley”

“THE best Fish n chip shop in the area - EASY! Girls always serve with a smile and great banter too! Fish is the tastiest you'll get (i used to drive over from bearsden for it!) and chips perfectly made too. Have tried ALL the chippies locally...but this is the plaice to go for fish n chips (all puns intended!)”

“Family tea time in Shuttles celebrating with food and soft drinks . The FOOD was outstanding ..highly recommend...portion sizes big....and so tasty... Great for a get together... I had starter, main and side all for £19....Doggy box to take away the portion was so big I didn't realise..yummy”
