“We booked the cocktail making masterclass for my best friends hen do. It was a large hen booking of 32 so we decided to use home as the venue offered us a private room. The whole experience from initial emails to the big day yesterday was exceptional! Nothing was too much trouble for the events team, they were so accommodating & helpful. Price wise, ABSOLUTE BARGAIN!!!! how many places can say that they can offer a private room, cocktail masterclass including 2 cocktails, prosecco arrival, beer pong & bar games & the most delicious & plentiful buffet for under £40 per person? The whole experience truly exceeded expectations & we had a wonderful time, the bride was beyond thrilled with everything. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Having done cocktail making classes at other venues, I can say that Home hands down beat everywhere else. It was such good value for money & the food was absolutely delicious & so plentiful. I must make special mention to Katie, Daisy & Telmah. Those ladies were incredible! So professional & efficient, friendly & approachable & did a fab job of wrangling 32 hens. Nothing was too much trouble & we’re so unbelievably grateful for the outstanding service they provided. Telmah even looked after us in VIP when we returned back later in the evening & she was still as happy, attentive & professional as she was 8 hours previous when we first arrived. if you need a venue for your special occasion, Home the one to choose.”

“Went in for dinner today, we have started to go quite often now to be fair. I tried the pulled mushroom chilli as I am a vegetarian and it was one of the best dinners I have ever eaten! Going again after work on Wednesday”

“I can't go into too much detail as I was here for a wedding, but the typical "wedding" food spread was plentiful and overwhelming! The room was a good size for the number of people there. Toilets was closed by, also a disability toilet with a small lift to bypass the stairs. The car parking has plenty of spaces and only a few steps from the building. All in all, we had a good day there.”

“We came to firepit for lunch and a catch up with friends. Great venue and atmosphere for watching sport. The service was great, Hollie was our server and she was personable taking an interest in our day. We got a variety of different food, which was all delicious. I would recommend the pork dog and tacos. All round great experience.”

“A lot of people hate wether spoons I take them for what they are.. and this one is the best I've ever been in .. lovely building renovated tastefully the food was good and great value the service was really good the real ale was excellent value never had cheaper but still great quality .. a win win put your preconceptions behind you”

“This is a well run pubic house with plenty of TVs to watch sport on. The staff are very friendly and the tables are always very clean. The chef needs a pat on the back as the food is always tasty and hot. A positive experience on every visit. Only thing that lets it down is the selection of draught ciders.”

“Went on Monday where it was all Christmassy & had fake snow sprayed on everyone. Was decent music, the bar staff were really nice and friendly, and 2 of the bouncers were really helpful and really good at their job - Tom and Aidan. I can’t speak highly of them enough! Would recommend.”

“We go regular for lunches and it's always a great atmosphere. This time we booked to have a Christmas lunch, every course was lovely and just enough to have all 3 courses and not feel bloated. It was excellent value for money aswell and won't hesitate booking for next year.”

“Visited here yesterday for a few hours after my nephews graduation, absolutely fantastic service from Kai who was working on his own he never stopped and apologised for the wait which was fine as he was clearly busy, very friendly and knowledgeable about the cocktails on offer, hope this venture goes from strength to strength for him as he clearly has passion for the role.
