The owner’s lovely mother came and spoke to us about the history of the restaurant and we felt so welcomed and at home. Though we typically opt for Chinese cuisine, this experience has completely won us over. The menu is extensive, and we are already planning our next visit to explore more dishes. One standout detail was the impeccable cleanliness—it's clear that the staff take great pride in maintaining the space. Without a doubt, Thai Palace has become our new favourite restaurant. “Lovely meal, I had the steak wrapped in bacon stuffed with Italian blue cheese. It was super tasty. Lots of gluten free options available as they have gluten free pasta and most of meats could be done gluten free. Decent price, really enjoyed it, would go again.”

“This little Vietnamese restaurant is not pretentious and not over priced. The food is authentic and excellent. The restaurant is clean and the staff really are genuinely friendly. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted with a wonderful welcoming smile from the young lady. The service was wonderful and she was so helpful. What we liked most of all, is that you can watch the food you are about to eat being prepared and cooked through the glass screen. As we left all the staff wished us well and we hope to return one more time before we return to London. If we could give this restaurant ten stars we would. This restaurant is a jewel in Hull!”
