“Whitakers make moving home how it should be and certainly break the stereotype of estate agents. Andy came and gave a realistic valuation, not too low just so they could look good selling your property quickly or too high to make it seem you’ll get more (who wouldn’t want to sell their home for more). This was because Andy came well prepared, bringing details of comparative properties and recently sold properties to back up his valuation to provide that balance between selling quickly but also maximising the potential return. Within a couple of days of instructing Whitakers, we had photographs taken, a draft brochure and the listing live - the premium package also gave us additional exposure and worked as the social media package is what actually prompted the viewing. Throughout the whole process Leanne kept us up to speed - she made the whole process stress free. Considering this is the biggest move we’ve made and were anxious about - she put us at ease. She chased the buyers and their solicitors for updates and then our own Solicitors and provided us with regular updates - having moved twice with two other agents before, Whitakers communication was superior and even when we rang the office and Leanne wasn’t free, you didn’t have to leave a message, the other team members seemed to understand the status of all their clients. Things go wrong and not all things are plain sailing, moving day came and once Leanne knew we were exchanging and completing on the same day, she stepped in to make sure we had regular updates through the day - again letting us focus on moving. And the morning after we moved into our new home I even received an email from Andy wishing us all the best in our new home. These small details made a huge impact. The staff in branch are a credit to Whitakers and Andy has done brilliant building a team that put the customer first. I’d have no issues at all recommending Whitakers.
