“First time i've been in this Heron store & it was well worth the visit, its very large inside probably biggest one i've been shopping in. I went in for a particular item that i always buy from Heron but there was none of the flavour i preferred so ask the manager if there was any in the back to come out because a lot of the staff were busy stacking the shelves to keep everywhere stocked up. The staff where very polite & the store was very clean with offers everywhere you looked. When i asked the manager if there was any in the back he couldn't see any but then while i was waiting in the queue he came looking for me with a full box that had just arrived so brilliant customer service which means a lot so this is another reason i'll certainly be back.”

“The new store layout and tills are an improvement, easy to get around the store and find what you need. Same great prices and products. The bakery selection is decent and all very tasty, the fresh bread is just like from a bakery, the blueberry muffins are banging and I will buy them again soon. Lots of free parking and conveniently located.”

“Went shopping 11/01/25 to Heron, Grampian Way, was served by a lady called Emma Scott. Never wrote a review before. I had to ask her name because this lady was extremely polite and helpful, even helped pack the bags. Was definitely service with a smile. I hate shopping the lady cheered my morning up. A pleasurable experience shopping today.”

I was early for my food pick up and another member of the public was extremely rude to me about being early, I was rendered speechless. But the M&S staff were so kind and apologised for how rude she was even though it absolutely wasn’t their fault. And just made me feel loads better. What kind wonderful staff.”

“Great little Co-op, the pub was going to be turned into housing and co-op thankfully saved it after thousands petitioned for it! Stocks all the essentials with some good offers. Friendly staff (except for the grumpy woman though!) who always have a chat, only been shopping for 6 months and already got £21 back from their dividend card! Would definitely recommend.”

“I went to a few of the continental supermarkets along Spring Bank looking for cream as the traditional supermarkets has sold out. Only at this supermarket were the staff helpful and whilst they did not have exactly what I wanted they have opened my eyes to a very nice products that did the job of cream with fewer calories. I will definitely go back and try some of their other products. It is always nice to try new things and I feel comfortable asking the staff here questions about the products I am buying. This shop is open on Saturdays as that is when I visited. A very wide range of produce tined fresh and chilled. I look forward to my next exploration.”

Great efficient post office too that I for one would definitely miss if not available. Best meeting shop for village too employing young people at weekends. Love it.”
