“On a nice Thursday evening in Hull we headed to a favourite spot of ours, Humber Street. We have been to Bert’s Pizza restaurant in Hull many times and had various degrees of success, but this was our first visit to Bert’s Pasta. It was amazing! We were welcomed by Jake and shown to a table with great views of Humber Street and the Marina. A bottle of house Red followed along with some house Rosé and we were left to read through the menu. A great variety of dishes on offer meant we took our time deciding but eventually ordered 1 Burrata & 1 Beetroot Carpaccio to start. This was followed by 1 Tagliatelle Alfredo, 1 Beef Pappardelle & 1 Tuscan Chicken Pappardelle along with sides of 1 Broccolini & a portion of Parmesan & Rosemary fries. To dust this all off we had 3 portions of Tiramisu. The flavours in these dishes were amazing and we will definitely be back the next time we visit Hull. Jake was very welcoming, friendly and efficient, thank you.”

“I often come here with the kids for a quick and relatively cheap dinner. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Was served by Sally on Tuesday and forgot to mention that I wanted the vegan version of a pizza, however was no issue when I realised my mistake.”

“Good atmosphere for having dinner with family. Friendly and attentive staff waiting to serve you and your family. They have plenty of space, but it will be better to book in advance. I always use the Pizza Express application to reserve and get the rewards every time I visit.”

“Partner had the burger and I had the lobster ravioli asked them for less chilli as the first time I had it, the chilli was overpowering the dish. They had to remake but sorted it quickly and efficiently. Cat our server was great, very attentive. Will be visiting again soon.”

Staff were so friendly and attentive, chatting to my daughter about managing to eat a whole foot-long!! Very clean and tidy too, always a bonus. “Very enjoyable experience for International Breakfast Buffet at Soju. Everything was fresh, delicious and served quickly. The staffs were polite, the place is spacious and clean, which is quite refreshing compared to many much smaller similar restaurants. Overall still happy and would definitely come back.”

“All I can say is by far the best pizza place in the area! Every time I have ordered they follow every special requirement to the letter (we're a picky bunch!) and we're never dissapointed. The pizzas are perfectly baked, with generous toppings of fresh, flavoursome ingredients and arrive piping hot to our address. I opt for one of the meal deals when we have the kids back from uni or friends/family over and the value for money is exceptional. “Went here for the first time last night. Really nice food. We got two different pizzas and fried, all of which were lovely. Will definitely be using this place again. The chips in a paper bag with chip spice on remind me of yanky land! Friendly staff and clean place.”

“Came in with my dad yesterday, he has severe mobility issues and as we were making our way through Vicky (with a C) came over and kindly offered us the use of a wheelchair! She was very helpful and polite, and even after we were done shopping she helped us get sorted She went above and beyond in helping us and that's a kindness we won't forget, thank you Vicky! :)”

“Best pizza in the area! We can tell the pizzas are made from fresh, good quality ingredients and baked beautifully in a proper stone pizza oven (the crust is on the thin side and crispy). All the different toppings we have had are beautiful, fresh and tasty. The staff are very friendly and professional. We have plenty of pizza takeaways to choose from where we live, but happily travel 20 minutes to get a GOOD pizza. (My partner reacts badly to low quality pizza dough and has NEVER had a problem here. The dough here is fresh and bakes beautifully. Our little girl with sensory issues loves the pizza from here, it's one of very few meals that she actually really loves and gets excited about.) Thanks Dolce Vita! Pls don't go anywhere!”

“Arriving at the restaurant we were treated by staff straight away. Payment made and we was sent downstairs to the restaurant. There was no queue (easter Sunday 4pm) we were shown straight to our table, explained how the restaurant worked and left to our own devices. There was so much choice, from English food, Chinese, Indian, sushi, Italian. Lots of choice for dessert too. Once plates were finished with, they were taken by the staff immediately. Fresh cutlery was left at the table if you needed them again for another plate of food. There was no limit to the amount of times we could go up and get another plate of food (4 plates later, and feeling fat). Again no limit on dessert, and plenty of choice for everyone. There was no rush for us to leave the restaurant, and by 5, the restaurant was filling up. We were there around 2 hours in total. There was even a robotic machine that delivered drinks to tables. Overall we had a lovely time, and would return to the restaurant again.”

“Just want to say thank you to all the incredible staff working today on Christmas Eve 2025. What a great team you all are. I was early for my food pick up and another member of the public was extremely rude to me about being early, I was rendered speechless. But the M&S staff were so kind and apologised for how rude she was even though it absolutely wasn’t their fault. And just made me feel loads better. What kind wonderful staff.”
