“Absolutely fantastic food, quality, service, and experience. The staff are lovely, as are the owners. This is a MUST visit place if you are in the area or if you fancy a drive to a nice place for walking, etc. Our whole experience was positive. The food and cakes are amazing. Thank you to the sailor and the other staff. Thanks, Dave & Bev.”
“Fabulous barber. Always receive exceptional service from her. Always chatty and friendly, but very professional.”
“Friendly staff in lovely surroundings. Claire and her team are very skilled and really accommodating. Would highly recommend for hair and Claire opened up & did my make up at 7.30am before my graduation ceremony. Can't fault this place.”
“We can’t get enough of it here. An outstanding place with the warmest of welcomes. The food and coffee are always spot on, the menu is so thoughtful and creative - as a coeliac it’s a dream come true. We’ve tried the Friday night take out too which Id recommend to anyone. The nachos and the toasties are firm favourites with us. One of our favourite places for weekend food.”
“Took my 18 month old for his first haircut and am very impressed with how they treated him (and us) and the cut is perfect for him. Thanks guys! Looking forward to coming back as he grows.”
“Great place, food was amazing and my Favourite German beer on tap, it’s great to see a diverse selection of beers / drinks on offer. The staff were also very attentive.”
“Absolutely gorgeous coffee and hot chocolate. Brilliant range of interesting products from olive oils, to lip balms, essential oils, to tinned mussels. Absolutely worth a visit. Cakes looked lovely too.”
“The most excellent place to escape from Bronte in Haworth. Great local atmosphere, friendly staff (and patrons), good choice of drinks and food available. We loved it from start to finish.”
“Excellent café, with great food, excellent prices. Lovely, friendly atmosphere. We stopped here on a canal walk, and it was perfect. There are lots of interesting things to look at, which adds to the atmosphere. No toilet. Highly recommended.”
“Nice food with friendly staff who make you very welcome.”
“Really enjoy the atmosphere and drink selections at Gallaghers. Always a great service from the team behind the bar. A nice small bar with some live music now and again outside. Recommended.”
“Perfect place for a stop if you're cycling in the area. It was a good menu, with lots of choice and vegetarian options. There's space to prop your bike against the window outside, and see it from your table. There's also a side alley you could potentially leave your bike, but would be out of sight once you were in the cafe.”
“This is a venue you need to book a table for on weekends when events are on in Haworth. They found us a table for a drink in the past when we go for the annual Steampunk weekend. The service by all the staff is absolutely 1st class. I work in catering and seeing the way they deal with the publics questions and problems be assured you will be looked after by great people. A great comfortable atmosphere of a very old building with loads of character. Last but not least the food and drinks are amazing, tastes that you may not have tried before but you will want to go back and taste again. Book try it you will love it.”
“Located in the heart of Frizinghall, Desi Chaska is a hidden gem that I highly recommend to anyone who loves flavorsome cuisine. I've tried several dishes and was blown away by the quality of the food. The standout dish for me was the lamb chops, which were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The chicken biryani was also excellent, with tender pieces of chicken and a fragrant mix of spices. I also sampled the mixed grill and masala fish, both of which were delicious and satisfying. In addition to the food, I was impressed by the friendly and helpful staff. They were happy to make recommendations and answer any questions I had, which made the ordering process a breeze. Overall, I highly recommend Desi Chaska as a go-to local takeaway for anyone looking for a decent takeaway in Frizinghall. Whether you're a fan of lamb chops, biryani, or any other type of Indian cuisine, you won't be disappointed by what Desi Chaska has to offer.”
“Fabulous little place. Beautiful surroundings. Food and service were amazing”
“Tasty, hearty food and good service.”
“A Perfect Sunny Afternoon at Haworth – Fish & Chips Done Right! Our visit to Haworth was an absolute delight eventually! We enjoyed a classic fish and chips meal while basking in the vibrant sunshine at their outdoor seating area—a truly idyllic setting. The portions were impressively generous, and every bite was a testament to quality: the fish was fresh, flaky, and encased in a light, crispy batter, paired with proper golden chips that hit all the right notes. What truly elevated the experience was the warm, welcoming vibe from the staff. Their friendliness and good humour—smiling, joking, and ensuring we felt right at home—made the meal even more enjoyable. If you’re craving a taste of tradition with a side of sunshine and stellar service, Haworth is a must-visit. Highly recommended—we’ll be back! Many thanks to the team for such a memorable outing!”
“I'll come out the gate with a negative - Keighley isn't the loveliest of spots... But TotG was a little gem amongst it all. Lovely food - sunday roast - with good optional extras. But the stand out was the beer. So well kept, delicious, multiple option, and the ability to choose paddles of different types. Staff were fantastic and - aside from a couple who sat directly next to us and stared for the whole meal... - the pub was lovely inside.”
“This place really is the go to for fish masala amazing flavour and spicy enough to make you sweat”
“It is very difficult to fault this establishment. The food was top class and much enjoyed. We ordered burgers, scampi, and a gammon steak, and all were at the top of their game. They were accompanied by beautiful chips and the price for these were very reasonable. To cap all this, the staff are very friendly, the service was good, there is a pool table, and it is dog friendly. What more could you ask for?”
“We have been married for over 40 years and always bought our beds from the bed shop. Our latest purchase was a double mattress at the start of this year. The lady who served us was very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable, we told her what we wanted and she steered us in exactly the right direction. The mattress was delivered in less than a month by two amenable delivery men who placed it on the bed for us.”
“Lively pub/restaurant, visited on a Saturday so was very busy (would recommend booking if going for food). Was quite loud and a club set up downstairs, ordered food and cocktails which were delicious, the staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend for some good food and cocktails. I had the bang bang chicken fried rice that was amazing.”
“We chanced an unbooked visit and got the last available table by the door. We were thankful for getting in and advised that being by the door, people would be coming in and out all the time. This was the case, but we knew the score so it was fine. I felt sorry for the lady welcoming people as she had to constantly close the door as people failed to understand it was their job to do so when they walked in (basic manners that evade a lot of people unfortunately). The soup we both had was excellent and sandwich was too. We had gingerbread lattes which were excellent as well. Overall a very nice place and definitely worth a visit. Definitely book a table though. Many thanks for a lovely visit.”
“Really great place! The food has always been amazing, the price is reasonable, the atmosphere is great. We have been for dinnet and also enjoyed one of their themed nights. The puctures are from a Frank Sinatra night which was wonderful and would definitely recommend.”
