“I usually start a night in here. Love a good blast on the karaoke. Toilets are down some steep stairs though which I do struggle with. If the disabled is available I go in there.”

“I've been coming to the eastfield since it was Charlie Chalks. From working here as a teen to now coming with my family 15 years later. I've never had a bad meal, it's very well priced to other options. A small cohort of staff who have been a familiar face the whole time too. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Visited the Angel with my daughter, son-in-law and 8-year old granddaughter. Initial impression was the heating was on and a nice welcome from the staff, a good start! Layout is excellent as there is an area laid out as a dining room with bar situated round the corner at the opposite end of the premises. Service the bar was friendly and very efficient. Our food arrived in a timely fashion and we were satisfied with quantity and quality and felt it was very good value for money. Julie and Lawren (hope I’ve spelt correctly) were a credit to the establishment, thanks, Gerald”

We will be upgrading the pub bringing in new entertainment, foods, new opening and closing times they will be No more late night partying on a weekend if you want that go to a nightclub! But put it this way the pub will be a new lease of life back into it!”

“What can I say, Danielle was left on her own to run everything. She was supposed to finish work at 5 but another member of staff didn’t turn in. She was still there at 7pm. She was polite, totally professional and is a credit to your establishment. Danielle needs some sort of recognition. Our food was lovely and even in the hardest of times a service with a smile, a wonderful experience”

“Great meal but a little bit flustered at midday for the first order it seemed… food took an okay time to come and was really nice. The offer itself meant that the 2 for 10.99 was reasonable since we were a group of four plus could add on for a small amount extra. Great atmosphere and lovely place to eat and have a drink. Great selection of other drinks and a good array of food not just on the offers menu too. For non alcoholic beverages there were a selection of mock tails or refillable diet / low sugar drinks available too.”
