“As someone that knows nothing about cars I always feel like I’m going to get ripped off by a garage and overcharged or charged for something I don’t need. I rang Morley Vehicle Repairs last week to ask if they could replace my wing mirror after someone drove past and swiped it off while I was parked outside my house. They told me to come straight down and they’d have a look, they got a quote for a new one from the manufacturer and it was around £490 just for the parts so they gave me a list of places to try to source it myself. I found it for £65 so I ordered it and as soon as it came they managed to squeeze me in despite being clearly very busy and overworked in the heat ! I really appreciated it as I am 38 weeks pregnant and my car breaking was the last thing I needed. They charged me for just one hour of labour which was amazing considering they had to take my door off to fit it. I am really pleased with the service and glad to have found a trustworthy company that doesn’t take advantage despite it being ridiculously obvious that I know nothing about cars. Thanks a lot and I will be recommending you in future! :-)”

“Extremely good and highly recommended. I had what should’ve been a simple fuse change to do but unfortunately, because of the location of the fuse box (behind the glove box but blocked by the dash trim) it wasn’t reachable. I asked Halfords (when I bought the fuse) and they couldn’t do it. So when I had some spare time before collecting my daughter from Rachael Swann dance school round the corner, I thought I’d pop in to AutoCare and ask if they had the necessary tools to reach it. The guy I spoke to was not only very welcoming, but was happy to stop what he was doing and have a look. Five minutes later, he’d got his tools, and got the fuse out. The replacement fuse Halfords sold me was wrong but not to worry, he went into the office and found the right one and fitted it. In and out within 5 minutes, with great customer services. He wouldn’t even accept any payment for the job despite my offer. Great guys, knowledgable, friendly, and will be returning even though I’m not that local.”

“Contacted Christian about an ongoing issue with regards to an engine management light on a SEAT Leon Fr. Previous mechanics had been unable to accurately diagnose the issue and gave me no guarantees. Christian appeared genuine from the outset. Took it to him within hours of him ringing me back, left it overnight, and everything sorted the next afternoon. Diagnosed it as a glow plug and ambient air temperature sensor. He even sourced a temperature sensor from second hand dealer to keep costs down; something I fully appreciated. One mechanic who I can at least trust to do work required and who is going to give an honest opinion and viewpiont of the situation. Would highly recommend and will most definately be using him again in future. Just a shame that I had to fork out over £300 on previous diagnostics with other mechanics to not be given an answer. “Decent service from Archbold. I've used them a few times for some essential service items on my van. Usual dealer prices, but that said a lot of independents or bosch service centres charge similar hourly rates, so in my case I'd rather have genuine ford parts fitted. Plus I struggled a bit to find locally garages that could handle the commercial vans too. Customer service is good. Keep in contact with you with updates etc. Plus they can pick your car up & deliver back, providing you have arranged this with them and it's applicable etc to you and so on. Overall a decent place as an independent Ford dealer.”

I was sorted out quickly by Nemo with a set of 3d gel plates and all the fixings needed. He took the time to ensure the new plates would fit without drilling through the letters. First class service.”
