“Friendly staff at the counter, it appeared someones order had been delayed and they were very professional apologising and keeping the customer happy. My order was cooked without a hitch, the pizza was delicious and the fries were perfectly cooked with a good size portion. They looked to have some good cheesecakes in the dessert chiller cabinet too.”

“We love this restaurant. All the staff are very welcoming and they look after you very well. We have been the this place alot over the years and we have never had a bad meal. Personally I don't think anyone serves a better onion bhaji. Highly recommend a visit.”

“I visit regular and have always enjoyed my visit. Food is always bang on, service is always fast and polite. Ordering on the app makes it really convenient. “Food You can't really beat the breakfast here as its a Premier Inn breakfast, so an all you can eat buffet. The kids, Mrs and myself love it. The only things I would alter is the bacon cooking a bit longer and adding chopped tomatoes, but for the price I won't complain about it. As with all the Premier Breakfasts you get the hot food, cereal, toast, jams, spreads, refils on tea and coffee. Like I said for the price its bang on. Service Each time ee have been here the table service is quick. The staff always make sure your table is free of plates so you can keep topping up the hole your trying to fill. Usually you can pay after your food but we always pay before. We have never had to have staff fix, alter anything while we have visited. Atmosphere Your typical Premier Inn restaurant style place, clean and tidy and kid friendly. Perfect for families or for business trips even if your on your own you cant really knock it.”

“Visited the Angel with my daughter, son-in-law and 8-year old granddaughter. Initial impression was the heating was on and a nice welcome from the staff, a good start! Layout is excellent as there is an area laid out as a dining room with bar situated round the corner at the opposite end of the premises. Service the bar was friendly and very efficient. Our food arrived in a timely fashion and we were satisfied with quantity and quality and felt it was very good value for money. Julie and Lawren (hope I’ve spelt correctly) were a credit to the establishment, thanks, Gerald”

“Donner Burger: 5/5 Best donny burger i've had. Chips 4.5/5 1st time it was soggy in the same box with burger, now they were in seperate paper bag, arrived fresh crisp and added seasoning sepertly to shake for yourself. Wings 1/5 Probably the worst wings i've had in my life, but it might be a one off, don't want to try again.”

“Pizza time is our great friendly pizza shop always order the whopping 14in cheesy garlic bread and the calzone kebab is a proper pizza pie. Not only do you get great food you also can order with confidence that this place is super clean inside. We all know in Wakefield there is certainly some grubby takeaways but this one is 100% clean and hygienic. Great consistency of food always delicious.”

“Great meal but a little bit flustered at midday for the first order it seemed… food took an okay time to come and was really nice. The offer itself meant that the 2 for 10.99 was reasonable since we were a group of four plus could add on for a small amount extra. Great atmosphere and lovely place to eat and have a drink. Great selection of other drinks and a good array of food not just on the offers menu too. For non alcoholic beverages there were a selection of mock tails or refillable diet / low sugar drinks available too.”

“Just had an amazing takeaway! The bruschetta starter was incredibly fresh, with perfectly crispy bread. The tzatziki, served with freshly made bread, was absolutely delicious. For the main course, the mixed kebab was packed with tender meat and came with a lovely, fresh salad. The sauces which you get with the meal are perfect! The garlic bread with tomato was also a great. If you want a fresh takeaway that’s not greasy, definitely try this place!”
