They was very helpful and dispatched the replacement the same day as my call. This arrived the next day ahead of when I even expected it. Packaged very well. Very easy to deal with. It’s often not what a company does when it does well that defines them it’s how they handle it when it goes a little bit wrong and I was very impressed with the service from this shop. “I went to screwfix as an ignoramus. I measured everything, had taken photos and had some idea what I wanted. The guys at Screwfix, Monks Cross were superb! They didn't treat me like an eejit, they were very respectful, knowledgeable and honestly, could not have done any more for me. They showed endless patience and solved all bar one of my problems. The one unsolved problem, they gave me suggestions on where to go for the part I need. I was really worried about going into a place like this, knowing what I wanted but not knowing how to ask for it and looking a complete idiot. I won't have those worries again, thanks to the guys at Monks Cross Screwfix, one of which was Tom, didn't get the other guy's name, but he had a grey beard. I will from now on, continue to go to Screw fix every time I need some, safe in the knowledge I am likely to get exactly what I need, with expert advice, all at a reasonable price. “Another hidden jem. Lovely little Italian restaurant - very good service and friendly too. They have an extensive menu and what we had was extremely tasty with good sized portions. The tomato garlic bread we had to start with was so good it was to die for! Lots more on the menu I want to try. The wine was excellent too and good quality. The coffee is sooooo tasty. We will be back.”
