“We've just had our painters meeting AGM today. We all had a meal, and the food was super. Steak and ale pie with chips and peas was excellent. The service was first class, and the staff are wonderful. We go every month. It's a lovely pub.”

“I stayed here to see family for a few days, first visit what can I say it was lovely, staff were great made me feel welcome breakfast was very tasty and the girls on breaking were great even the evening staff also the housekeeper I met that day was very pleasant, only downside the car park was full of litter shout out to Karen Caitlin Mandy and the lady on the evening shift forgot her name will definitely be back.”

“Lovely little guest house, set back against woodland. Room was clean and tidy and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, with a varied choice. “Superb, professional staff: my car ran into engine problems, so I parked it on the car park. The reception staff came out to offer assistance and cold drinks on sweltering 30C day. This was heaven sent with the air conditioned reception offering a welcome respite for my wife young daughter, nephew, and mum, while I waited for breakdown assistance. It's refreshingly pleasant to know first rate customer service is still out there. Thank you sincerely from myself and family.”

“Charming place to stay in Wakefield. My friend and I came to stay from Edinburgh to go and see the Yorkshire sculpture park and we had a lovely stay. We got a big, comfortable room with a double and a single bad for a very good price, and for just 5 pounds more we both got free WiFi and breakfast! It was really worth it because the breakfast was nice and very abundant. It had everything from cereal, to full English breakfast. The women working there was also lovely, very kind and helpful. The location is also good, rather close to the station.”

“The best value place by far. Super clean and hygienic even by my standards. Well equipped, I had room 202 and it was perfect so cheap too. Two separate rooms at travelodge for family and myself would have cost almost twice as much. Easy to reach plenty of parking and although it was a one night stay I think we could swing a week.”

“WOW!!! From start to finish this whole stay was perfect, we were left high and dry by another company who we had booked the weekend with, phoned to stay here and within minutes we were booked in. As we arrived at the venue every single room was finished to one of the highest standards I have seen when it comes to an air bnb. Comfy beds, showers with great pressure in every room, it is clear to see that no expense had been spared throughout this property. The customer service was 5* The venue was 5* The sleep was 5* Access to the motorway was amazing for those travelling. We will 10000% be using here again and recommending this. Thank you.”
