I had my hair cut by Nick, I got a curly cut and find it hard to trust people with my curly hair, Nick did such an amazing job, he talked it all through with me and Iβm obsessed with the finish! Was met with the loveliest team, Megan washed my hair and was so cheerful and lovely and Nick was so welcoming and chatty. Couldnβt recommend this place enough !!β

βI recently moved to the area and have tried a few salons for my waxing and manicure needs. My experience was nothing but pleasant. Anna Maria made me feel at ease during my wax and was very gentle. It was honestly the most painless one I have had. I originally booked for a builders gel manicure but she was honest and up front that she was not overly happy with the current product she had recently started stocking so we decided on a shellac manicure instead. Previously, my shellac manicures barely last a week and 2 at most. I was on holiday in the pool, snorkeling and not being the most gentle on my nails and they lasted 3 whole weeks! I will definitely be back for further treatmentsβ

βVisited the hotel today for afternoon tea and it was simply lovely. The young man who met us at the front door was friendly and helpfully took us through to the dining area. The waitress who served us was amazing -friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. And the food was just gorgeous! 2 hours spent relaxing in a beautiful setting, drinking prosecco and eating beautiful food- a really great way to spend a Friday afternoon. Thank you.β

βMy sister and I really enjoyed our one night stay at the Hedley House Hotel. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful with directions around York and to the Barbican (where we were attending a concert). The hotel was very comfortable, clean and tidy. Our twin room was lovely. And it was only a short walk to the train station which we discovered on our way back (a shortcut shown to us by one of Hedley House team!). We would highly recommend this hotel.β
