“This is only a small chippy but best in Keighley. Great portion size and great price compared to other places. If you look at the negative reviews there for the other chippy down the road called Stockbridge arms fisheries. So don’t let the negative reviews put you off. They don’t use boxes or don’t have a sit in area it’s just a small walk in chippy that wrap your fish and chips in paper.”

“Went here to celebrate 25 yrs since our first date and we were looked after by all the staff who couldn't have done any more for us if they tried. When we arrived there was a card and bottle of prosecco on our table from the staff which was a lovely gesture. Food was spot on on arrival you got tea and biscuits then a 3 course meal to have as and when you wanted it then afternoon tea was served. All other staff that took us and looked after us in the parade and winners enclosures were so friendly and made you feel special. If you want to have a great day at the races with wonderful staff I highly recommend Pontefract Racecourse.”

“I’ve ordered from Moon's more than half a dozen times now, and honestly, they’ve never let me down. The staff are very friendly and often efficient, no messing about. They tend to be pretty busy at the times I visit so understandably, there can be reasonable delays but, the food quality and taste generally makes the wait worth it for me. The fries are always fresh, hot and that is one of the metrics I use to decide restaurant's respect and mindfulness to its clients. I'm fanatical about fries so, my criticism is generally harsh. On this note, Moon's need not worry. Now my main order, the Picante smash burger is my usual. It's fresh, crunchy, got a bit of kick, and just works. Everything’s well put together, not slapped in a box like some other places. It’s become my go-to after a long day or post-gym. Fridays especially, or midweek when I need a bit of a pick-me-up once a week. I have observed the cooks in the background, the cleanliness of the overall seating places and I believe the place is clean and deserving of Positive reviews.”

“Best meat curry I’ve had. Full of flavour, the kebab meat is on point, a lot of kebabs around here are terrible. By far my favourite curry house in Bradford highly recommend. Even the salad is fresh not days old and soggy.”

“Fabulous looking pub with a great choice of food. Had the Holy Cow Pie with chips and peasant it was beautiful. Plenty of steak and mushroom filling and lively pastry. The chips were wonderful and could be swapped for mash if preferred. Had the warm chocolate fudge cake for dessert and I can recommend that too. Thank you very much to the staff who were attentive but not invasive.”

“We were greeted by lovely, friendly staff on arrival and instantly loved the décor. But of course, we came for the pies we’d heard so much about – and they did not disappoint! I had the garlic chicken and mushroom pie with mash and peas, and it was absolutely delicious. My partner went for the minted lamb pie with dumplings, mash, and peas, and he was just as impressed. The food is home-cooked, full of flavour, and very reasonably priced. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to again!”

“I left a bad review the other week due to ordering and waffles been uncooked in side, however, soon as I left the review vibes gave me a call to discuss this when we found out the waffle machine had broken but the cook did not notice, vibes could not apologise enough and gave us free waffles as soon as they got a new machine as well as adding extras onto our order for the inconvenience! I have to say I am very impressed by this as it’s not often places do this anymore. I absolutely love vibes and just a phone call to apologise in the first place still made me order again the week after ☺️”

“Visited Mother Hubbard’s on Leeds Road and had an excellent experience. Even though it was busy, the customer service was absolutely top-notch. Sophie in particular deserves a special mention — she was extremely polite, well-mannered, and very professional. I mentioned that I needed to get to work, and she made sure my food was prepared and brought out swiftly without compromising on quality.
