“Great venue in Leicester. Went last night for the first time to the annual 2 Funky festival. Saw a mix of poetry, solo singers and singers with bands. All very good. Great staff at the venue as well. The main 'cafe' venue is great for watching bands/performers. Have lots of different seating areas and a great part covered large outside space.”

“Just Punjabi is a very nice place which is located in Belgrave Road in Leicester. Food was prepared during our visit, so it was brought in the frying pan which was steaming. We ordered mixed grill and fish which were very delicious. Service was fast, polite and pleasant. The restaurant is beautiful and cosy though it is not very big. The application of a numbing gel at the site of the injection was a revelation, as that is the most feared thing for me; I felt nothing. The extraction was not even slightly painful. “This was our first time here and myself and my daughter loved it. The attractions are well thought out with different elements to give different feelings whether it’s the lighting or the size of the room, the actors clearly Love what they do as well. I wouldn’t say they were scary in the sense that you felt unsafe , but the way they are set to create an atmosphere is done very well. They are also a lot longer than we expected , which is a positive. I would say the fast track passes are well worth it , although the normal queues did move fairly quickly as well. The events are well run , organised and all the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the night , highly recommend !”

“We visited Twycross Zoo’s Lanterns of the Wild with myself, my partner, and our two young children (aged 2 years and 9 months), and we had a truly wonderful time. Seeing Santa in the grotto was a real highlight — he was absolutely brilliant with the babies, making the experience feel so special. Santa’s elves were fantastic too, especially Jingle and Jangle, who put on an amazing show and kept everyone entertained. The lanterns themselves were truly phenomenal and created such a magical atmosphere throughout the zoo. A lovely, festive experience for the whole family and one we’d highly recommend.”
