“I went in for quality fresh fruit to keep me going for a full day's work. I might pay a few pence more at Waitrose but nothing was bruised, or anything but perfectly fresh, so I consumed the lot and it was as "Value for money" as anywhere else (Aldi, you know who you are).”

“06/02/24 - very very helpful delivery driver today! Currently on crutches recovering from a broken ankle and I’d left a message to call me when here and I’d get someone to come down. Driver called so I advised main door was open and to leave downstairs, I’d ask my son to come down. The driver actually brought all the bags upstairs to outside my door! “I hope this store doesn't close down now the bigger one has opened on the retail park as it is easy to use lidl, pets at home and B&M all from the same carpark. The one in town isn't as accessible as the carpark is too far away when you are carrying heavy bags or boxes you need to put straight in the boot.”

“I went into the store on the way home from a wedding to pick up some food on the go. I'm coeliac, so I asked whether they do gluten free sandwiches. They didn't have any, but the lady I asked has offered to make me sandwiches on tje back if I pick up some gluten free bread and ingredients. I was truly touched, it's so hard to grab food on the go that's gluten free. This was great customer service, keep up the good work!”
