A beautiful vegetable tart (not a tartlet!!!) with side salad followed by a good range of well-filled sandwiches (beef, ham, chicken, cheese & egg). Then mini Victoria sandwiches, scones with jam&cream and a tray of bite-sized mini cakes. I recommend you miss lunch when you try this!”

“Check n was very straight forward. We were asked if we were party of the wedding party, which we were not. Gab on reception immediately changed our room as it has allocated us one where the wedding group were staying, so that our room would be quieter. And it was. Our room was extremely quite and comfortable. And the rooms are beautifully decorated. And the bed was super comfortable. It was actually a shame we stayed for only 1 night. Id definitely stay here again.”

“After staying at a Britannia Hotel before and being disappointed I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was very clean, warm and comfortable. The evening meal was very enjoyable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We spent some time in the enclosed garden, shielded from the elements. Breakfast was also enjoyable, staff being very helpful and friendly despite obviously being very busy. We only had an overnight stay, but we were made very welcome.”
