“I recently moved to The Wirral and struggled to find a Dentist taking NHS patients so reluctantly I started to look around for a suitable private practice. I feel so very fortunate to have found Tam and his team at Telegraph Road Dental Practice conveniently almost opposite the bus station in Heswall. On entering the surgery I felt very much at ease due to the reassuring, kind and understanding welcome I received from the receptionist, Jan. The patients, Tam, the dentist, and the rest of the team there are fortunate to have such a capable girl ensuring the smooth running of the day to day admin of the surgery. I cannot speak highly enough though of the whole team who are all so empathetic, professional and welcoming but especially of Tam himself. His patience in explaining treatment and X-rays to ensure I understood all that was involved, his excellent care while doing the treatment and the exceptionally high quality of the work he did was amazing. Obviously the cost of moving to private dental treatment was worrying as I am retired and on a relatively low income but the practice offers a reasonably priced dental plan which compares pretty well with other people I’ve spoken to which helps spread the cost a little and offers discount on treatment plus two free check ups and 2 free appointments with the hygienist each year which is very reassuring as I feel it is important to look after our oral health as much when we are older as when we were young. I can honestly say that my experience at Telegraph Road Dental Practice has left me feeling that I am in v capable hands. In Summary I would say; Excellent, Professional treatment from a great team with no more long waits for appointments and well worth the cost.”

“I have been a patient at Fiveways Dental for over 5 years now and yesterday I had my wisdom tooth extracted by Damien. As always, reception staff were super friendly when I arrived and made me feel welcome. Damien and his dental team made sure I was comfortable and relaxed, and fully understood what the extraction would involve before the tooth was removed. Damien was extremely gentle and caring when removing my tooth, and he let me take it home so I could get a tenner from the tooth fairy! Damien and the team also carefully explained the aftercare process, and gave me a leaflet explaining how to manage pain relief, keeping my mouth clean etc over the next few day days. Today I also had a lovely chat with Georgie - who called to check in and see how I was feeling after getting the tooth extracted. She again made sure I understood the aftercare process and made me laugh too! I would always recommend Fiveways Dental to anyone who needs general dental treatment or a hygienist appointment. Leanne the hygienist is absolutely fab! She’s professional and lovely, and my teeth always feel amazingly clean after my appointment.”

“Excellent experience from start to finish. Polite, helpful reception staff booked me an emergency appointment for lost filling which was causing sensitivity. Dentist was Mr Mzingaye Hove and his nurse was Poppy. Mzingaye offered to do filling straight away. Both Mzingaye and Poppy were very professional and courteous .”

“From my first phone call frantically trying to find a dentist (as I hadn’t been to my previous one and had dropped off their lists) to the first visit, meeting the lovely reception staff. I had to have a tooth extracted and was particularly nervous about the injections. Ben Webster is a magician as I didn’t feel a thing. In the past, this is my worst fear, the dreaded injections. Also the extraction was quick and easy to deal with. No pain whatsoever! Lovely dental nurses and reception staff too. Very clean welcoming surgery. Would highly recommend Fully recovered and healed within two days and received my new denture as promised. Update. I had managed to damage my new denture and they provided an amazing service once again. I was even given a free dental scan (amazing technology!) from a dental nurse, again extremely gentle and caring. She talked through everything and made it easy to deal with. They returned my fixed denture as promised and I’m really pleased. I will be more careful this time! Thank you Ben Leah and Jess and all staff. You’re brilliant! Thank you all”

“I had to travel here from wallasey for an emergancy dental appointment on Saturday after having a very bad tooth extraction at my dentist on Wednesday i was in alot of pain and still had my stitches in i was so nervous as I was still very sore I had a dry socket and the female dentist i seen was so lovely she was so gentle very welcoming and chatty and helped me relax no anasetic needed she cleaned out the wound and packed it for it to heal and didn't hurt at all she was so lovely a great service and would use them agen without a worry.
