“We came for the first time for the Wednesday Indian Buffet. The place is beautifully furnished clean and tidy. Tricia, the owner was really lovely and welcoming. “We visited The Mallard for early lunch Friday 6/6. My Mum had fish & chips and I had the pie (steak & ale). The food was fabulous, so tasty & fresh. But the real star of the show was Lyndsey! She had such a friendly demeanour. She welcomed us and all others with a smile and nothing was too much trouble for her! She was working alone front of house… but had it running like clockwork. She checked in on us just enough and was never overpowering. I can’t really comment on the atmosphere as there were only 4-5 tables in, but judging by the boards saying ‘What’s on’ - live music etc I’m sure it would be fantastic! We will be returning for sure!!”
