“Highly recommended. One of the most delicious food i ever had. My husband order meatballs which he loved it so much ( he said never had anything like it), I ordered chicken liver and garlic bread. The chicken liver took a bit long time to cook. But the restaurant gave us complimentary lovely sausages as an apology which i felt very appreciated because it was my fault ordered chicken liver. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Love it and will definitely go back again. ( Sorry, i forgot to take a photo of the complimentary sausages! )”

“My girlfriend found this place on the internet so we tried it out while we were in Southport , the place was quiet due to the fact the Champions league final was on and everyone was in the bars! As soon as we walked in we were made to feel as home by the gaffer, he couldn't do enough for us! The food was good and so was the Turkish beer, we chose different dishes from the Greek, Turkish and Spanish tapas menu and left full to the brim. The bill was a reasonable price too. We were very impressed by the interior of this restaurant and by the lovely painted Murals on the wall of different parts of the med. We had a lovely time and would recommend a visit here!”

“Excellent experience, last minute booking, the staff couldn't do more for us, even though the restaurant was full, they really looked after us, the food was exceptional, real authentic Turkish food. Will definitely return in the future. A must if your ever in Southport.”

“We had a fantastic family lunch today for my Dads 88th birthday. All the staff from start to finish were fantastic. It was well set up and organised (Thankyou Anna), the coffee was hot and the food was lovely. My Dad said he had a great time. (That is a big compliment !!!). So a big thankyou to Alex and the team. “We visited The Mallard for early lunch Friday 6/6. My Mum had fish & chips and I had the pie (steak & ale). The food was fabulous, so tasty & fresh. But the real star of the show was Lyndsey! She had such a friendly demeanour. She welcomed us and all others with a smile and nothing was too much trouble for her! She was working alone front of house… but had it running like clockwork. She checked in on us just enough and was never overpowering. I can’t really comment on the atmosphere as there were only 4-5 tables in, but judging by the boards saying ‘What’s on’ - live music etc I’m sure it would be fantastic! We will be returning for sure!!”

“Came here for my 30th birthday as we were staying in the hotel. Food was excellent - Sticky Toffee Pudding was the best I’ve ever had! But the real star was out waiter Liam! He couldn’t have done any more for us if he tried, great asset to the team! Can’t wait to return! :)”

“We came for the first time for the Wednesday Indian Buffet. The place is beautifully furnished clean and tidy. Tricia, the owner was really lovely and welcoming. The food was delicious and good value for money too. Raj on the buffet was very nice and helpful. We'll definitely be back soon. Phil and Claire”

“Staff very friendly hadn't booked but we were seated straight away. We're given Menus and drinks orders were taken. When food was ordered we were asked re allergies. Food was excellent my Husband had steak and said it was the best he had eaten in a long time. Haven't been to the Morris Dancers for a while but will definitely be back soon”

“I’ve been in recently for a couple of drinks. The pub is well presented, with clearly a lot of effort going in to its decoration. The staff are quite attentive for a busy pub and they’ve foster a nice atmosphere The manager was about and seemed to be really knowledgeable about his ales. I didn’t have any food but I would come back for some in the future.”

“Grabbed a table ordered on the app and enjoyed fish chips and mushy peas and a pint for about £13 cant grumble at that.Staff very friendly and great layout inside with plenty of tvs to watch”
