“The food is great and so is the customer service. Another person said in a review 3 years ago that they stopped serving hot food, but they do now, so they must have changed it. The customer service is also good and they are quick enough. Only issue is it's a bit pricey, perhaps the prices could be brought down a bit. Other than that, it's very good. The room is great too.”

“Visited 4th Match as Morrisons had an offer of 2 x breakfasts with 2 x hot drinks for £10.00. We ordered 2 x Veggie breakfasts with 2 x pots of tea. The food was hot and very tasty. The tea was OK. However, they only have UHT milk, which I am not a great fan of. The cafe was very clean. The staff were very pleasant and helpful as we had not eaten in a morrisons cafe before. We will keep an eye out for any future offers.”

“Brilliant staff, usually run off their feet and trying to do at least 10 things at once. The only real issue here is seating. There's plenty for customers, unfortunately there are large number of visitors who view the seating as 'hospital seating', and not only for customers. Hence, expect to find many of the seats occupied by individuals too selfish to even bother buying a cheap item (admittedly not many items are cheap) while they sit and read the paper etc. It really does need 'customer only seating' signs around the area!”

“We went in for a coffee and we left feeling warm, happy and lifted by the amazing staff. They are not just serving coffee, they are serving happiness ❤️. We were in Alder Hey with our 22 month old daughter after emergency brain surgery. 2 days after surgery, we went for our first walk out of the ward with our daughter in the pram and went to costa. Just to get away from the ward and get a bit of normality for 30 minutes. The lady and gentleman who served us were fantastic, the gentleman was making our daughter smile and treated her to a mini baby hot chocolate for her to try. She has a food allergy and they took so much care to make sure that her dietary needs were taken care of too. This was our babies’ first ever hot chocolate that and it is safe to say that the smile that it brought to her face when she tried it, really helped make the difference to what was one of the most stressful periods of our lives. We went to costa for a coffee and we left feeling happy and lifted by the amazing spirit and generosity of the staff. Costa HQ - if you are seeing this, these staff need recognition. They are not just serving coffee, they are serving happiness ❤️ and you are lucky to have them representing your brand. “We stopped here today, but they had literally just closed at 4pm and it was only a few minutes after that time when we arrived. However, I asked Tracey if she would still possibly serve us and she agreed which was very kind of her indeed as were desperate for a cuppa. Me and friend decided to have slice of bakewell tart too which was the best I've tasted for a while, but the lady did say it was home-made. The tea was also excellent. I would wholeheartedly this cafe to any prospective customers out there who want excellent refreshments.”
