“Lovely venue in a convenient place. Lovely seats in the theatre. Good view from all sides of the theatre. Bar area upstairs is spacious, prices are a little more expensive, but you're on a night out so it it expected. Comfortable seating and tables in the Bar area.”

“Sefton opera is an absolutely fantastic organisation I started a six week card making session that was over 10 years ago the staff are fantastic they are so kind so friendly just amazing when me and my mum first went to sefton opera we made a lot of new friends who now we call family because they all mean so much to us the staff go that extra mile to put a smile on peoples faces as I said at the beginning the staff are all amazing and should be so proud of themselves for making so many people very happy .”

“I recently attended the theatre to watch Conspiracies Redirected and I wanted to say how much I enjoyed the show. I did not know what to expect beforehand but thoroughly enjoyed the show. It was very well written and at times really funny. My favourite part was the dodgy looking alien and the character Rachel. Will definitely come to watch another show.”

“Lovely Matcham designed theatre in the centre of Blackpool. More character than more modern theatrical venues. Good sight lines. I sat halfway back in the stalls and could see the stage clearly. I'm tall and had enough leg room to be comfortable. Beautiful decor; traditional with a lovely, ornate painted ceiling. If you are going to a long show (2 hours plus), you might want to take a cushion as the seats have little or no padding.”

“Nice theatre. Seating is comfortable and it's a nice size, not massive but big enough for two tiers. I've seen a few performances here and I have no complaints. Bars for drinks and snacks. And they have a restaurant attached but I've not tried it myself.”

Staff were helpful on the phone prior to booking, very respectful re my questions re. partner needing minimal step access to the lift etc Lovely theatre, with many big names appearing. “Attended a Daniel Kitson gig today. Practicals: easy to get to and ample free parking. 5 mins walk from train station it seems (met Daniel on his way from the station !) So why 5 stars? The staff. Simply lovely people who not only were personable but wanted to chat and were so proud of their venue and town. Went to the bar to buy water and even the barman said "you know there is a water fountain over there?" I decided to buy just to support them. Will keep a look out for events here simply cos of the lovely staff.”

“My first visit to this concert hall. Very welcoming staff throughout. A spectacular auditorium with good acoustics; I heard the RLPO playing on their home turf. A nice bar area too. I sat at the back of the circle and I did find the legroom a bit cramped but that's a minor quibble.”
