“Took my kids to have piercings. One had their second lobes and helix and the other their first lobes. Helen was absolutely brilliant, she talked through everything and gave a big selection of jewellery to choose from (definitely spoilt for choice). The building and the piercing area was extremely clean. Helen was very gentle throughout all piercings, she waited until the kids were ready until she pierced. Helen made it very light hearted especially as one of my kids was a little loud. She gave thorough details about aftercare. I will not be going anywhere else for anymore piercings, she's brilliant. Prices are competitive. Wish I could give her a higher rating than 5 stars. Thanks for all your help Helen.”

“Honestly couldn’t recommend oli enough, did an amazing job with my septum. Had bad expierence with a different place and it was infected. Oli however was awesome, explained my piercing and everything I’d need after it. And even when I had an issue with the jewellery after, oli was more than happy to help me with it. Would defo go back”

“I went in on a whim, only fuelled by the vague but sudden urge that I wanted to have a needle and ink stabbed into me (a tattoo) that day, and had no idea what I wanted to get or where. I spotted the “get what you get” gumball machine through the window, which has a fixed price of £60 and you get a random flash piece. Stefan, who ran the gumball machine was obviously the one to tattoo me, and I’m so glad I went in that day. Everyone there was very friendly, but Stef especially did a great job making me feel comfortable and confident enough to let him do pretty much what he wanted on my leg. It was the least painful of my tattoos so far and it came out super cool! He was very gentle and he’s made a customer for life! Thanks Stef and everyone else at Crown Of Thorns!”

“I've had a few bookings with Dan now and do not regret it. My first sitting was a portrait of my Dad, the likeness is incredible and will always be a really special tattoo for me. The studio is very welcoming and clean. Both Dan and Jay are really lovely and put you right at ease. Very considerate and polite young men- the work ethic is admirable with the detail and personalisation with each piece. It's well worth the 100 mile round trip to get tattooed there. If you are thinking of getting some ink then I would highly recommend Dan and Jay.”
