“We had a party of about 18 of us for my daughters 30th birthday. Wendy decorated the table with balloons and banners that had been dropped off, just one of the ways she went above and.beyond. The service and attention to detail was first class. All the staff were super lovely The food came out fast, and was very tasty. Their was a mix of vegan, veggie and meat eaters. Wendy and her team made such a fuss of the birthday girl which was lovely. I honestly am so glad we went there and no I'm not on my own in saying I'll be back soon”

“Pleasantly surprised with this French Bistrot, the decor is definitely bringing you to France as well as the menu which is great, the food is gorgeous and the staff are trying their best to accommodate. I thoroughly enjoyed our evening there and can't wait to go back. Not cheap but top quality.”

“Tried this establishment just over a week ago now. Read great reviews about the quality of food and the price here on Google and on Southport food reviews on Facebook. Our food was that good we are placing our second order this evening 8th November. I have tried the salt and chilli ribs and they was absolutely tasty. Meat was tender and not burnt. I also had Special Curry with fried rice. The fried rice was probably the best I've ever tasted. Could eat that alone. To add to the rice my main was special curry. Absolutely delicious. All the meet was tender and the prawns best I've had. Not rubbery they was spot on. My wife ordered a fish and a carton of mushy peas. She tells me the fish was fresh and delicious, but the peas where like bullets. We will not let that put us off as she will be ordering the fish again without question. I'm really pleased we have found a Chinese takeaway who's food is tasty, hot, great price and delivered to our home. Thank you Golden Dragon.”

“We visited The Mallard for early lunch Friday 6/6. My Mum had fish & chips and I had the pie (steak & ale). The food was fabulous, so tasty & fresh. But the real star of the show was Lyndsey! She had such a friendly demeanour. She welcomed us and all others with a smile and nothing was too much trouble for her! She was working alone front of house… but had it running like clockwork. She checked in on us just enough and was never overpowering. I can’t really comment on the atmosphere as there were only 4-5 tables in, but judging by the boards saying ‘What’s on’ - live music etc I’m sure it would be fantastic! We will be returning for sure!!”

“I’ve been in recently for a couple of drinks. The pub is well presented, with clearly a lot of effort going in to its decoration. The staff are quite attentive for a busy pub and they’ve foster a nice atmosphere The manager was about and seemed to be really knowledgeable about his ales. I didn’t have any food but I would come back for some in the future.”

“We ordered through Just Eats. I rang after ordering to change an item slighty, polite response and was done no problem. Delivery was fast, food was delicious. We like spicy so ordered Amratsari wings, special chicken curry, madras hot and lamb Jhale Jule, Pilau rice. Piping hot too. Really delicious. Recommend. Try something different than the usual. They have a great menu.”

“I love a good Chinese, been shopping around for a while and finally found somewhere that is consistently delicious. I have had sweet and sour chicken, salt and pepper chicken, crispy shredded duck, crispy shredded chicken, sausages, fried rice, bbq sauce, salt and pepper chips to name a few. All where by far the best I have had in Southport. Nothing swimming in watery sauce, the sauce is thick, not over done, the veg is done nicely meaning your chicken still has that crispiness when it arrives. I have not tried the beef as not my usual go to. However I have not been disappointed with any aspect of their menu. I am so glad I have found this place. The meat is of good quality too, definitely prepped and stored correctly unlike some other places. I intentionally made sure to order several times before preaching this place to friends. I have NEVER left a google review before, but this place deserves it. 10/10.”

“I have just been to Papa John’s in Southport and Lord Street and bought a pizza They don’t take cash, but I bought a pizza for £9.99. It was called the works I’ve changed the menu I told him to keep off the olives, but put more ham on instead I must’ve been to Italy Sardinia at least 12 times in the last four years and this pizza is probably in the top two places in the whole of Italy, I’ve been I’ve been all over the world and had pizzas in Australia, New Zealand and Norway Ibiza Mexico, all over Europe and this is in the top five pizzas I’ve ever had all very very fresh There was a young lady from Goa, serving me very polite It is a shame that it’s closing down because these are fantastic Peters There’s one in Birkdale near the Mercedes garage was quite quite good, but this is on the same level I’m probably better”
