“Fantastic place to grab some brunch! Very big menu from a full English to great sandwich options and dumplings. Lots of love and care put into their food and service plus they are dog friendly. Great selection of cakes as well. Highly recommend and will definitely be back! Little gem!”
“Thought I'd give sweeps a try for the first time today and got to say it's the best place I've been. Woman do cut hair better than men.”
“Great breakfast. They had a full cafe near enough and still didn’t take long to serve us. Would recommend :)”
“Very tasty shisha flavours, great atmosphere, good and friendly service. I highly recommend the place for shisha lovers!”
“Excellent vibe and friendly staff who are always accommodating for a group of us when we come in and of my physical disabilities Amazing food, amazing people, top tier”
“An amazing cafe in the centre of Liverpool! Although their Menu doesn't have much on it, if you want an all day breakfast this is the place to go! They have a veggie option as well, but the full English was very tasty, and the sausages were much better than other places I've tried! Very good atmosphere as well with friendly staff, and don't be put off by the pink theme! Got chocolate was also great, although a little expensive at £4.10”
“Friendly staffs :) nice food and coffee”
“Amazing place , staff are so friendly. The breakfast was probably one of the nicest ones I’ve had in a long time. Definitely a place to go.”
“Best breakfast I've had. Id eat here every day if I could.”
“I found this little cafe whilst I was up having my car maintained and needed to kill some time. It’s a diddy little cafe and I was worried there wouldn’t be any tables as it was pretty busy when I arrived. The lady took my order and the food and drink arrived pretty quickly. I ordered a large breakfast and the only constructive comments I have are that it never said what was in the large breakfast on the menu. This was one of the best breakfasts I have had in probably decades with huge doorstop slices of toast and really tasty well cooked food. This place impressed me so much I would come out of my way to visit here again. Next time however; I would order a portion of black pudding as it didn’t come with the breakfast. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Warrington.”
“Great food great guy go every time I'm in the area. Great menu and drink selection and great prices”
“Only called in for tea. Butchery counter looks amazing with some very innovative offerings. Looked good quality meat. Small grocery with again some interesting products , good selection. The food that was being served looked really good and plentiful. It's a little gem, well worth visit.”
“This was a lovely little cafe but it is indeed little. There is limited space if you have a pram. We coincidentally went in with a travel stroller that we could close off and put in a corner but we would not have managed with our pram. However, staff were very friendly and food was delicious. I did find the menu confusing, in the sense that I was not sure what the theme of the menu was (if this makes sense), because I somewhat expected a lot of Maltese food but this was very limited. Nonetheless, the food was clearly prepared with love and care and it was simple full of taste. We even had a dessert for take away and it was gorgeous as well. We will most definitely visit again.”
“Visit here on a regular basis, the staff simply can't do enough to help, the food is great both I terms of cost and more importantly quality. Coffee here is amazing. They have a reading group for children and now open in the evening with sharing platters and beer, wine and prosecco available, use your time wisely and give it a try!”
“The best iced lattes and sweet treats ever! We love to pop in after a dog walk for a drink and a cake. Sausage rolls are absolutely fantastic too!! Everything is always freshly made. Staff are always so nice and polite. Love that this is my local coffee shop!”
“Gorgeous afternoon tea, served and made by lovely staff. It is extremely reasonable, and you get a full sandwich, a large slice of cake of your choice, and a huge scone with jam and cream. Then, on flowing tea or coffee £14 PP. Absolutely gorgeous food and a lovely afternoon.”
“This was our first experience with an English tearoom and we are so glad it was at the delightful Dormouse Haven. We had arrived early to rent a Black Prince narrowboat for the canal and Petra warmly welcomed us to stay out of the rain as long as we needed while waiting for our boat to be ready. As tea-naive Americans, we enjoyed her recommendation for Yorkshire tea, and the Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea sandwiches, cakes and scones. The food was absolutely delicious and obviously created with passion. Too much for the two of us to eat so we took the leftovers and enjoyed them that night on the boat. And then some for breakfast the next morning. As a couple of artists, we really enjoyed and appreciated the creativity of the Alice in Wonderland decor and atmosphere. Petra's vision for the restaurant is really cool. And thanks so much to Petra for the hospitality. A highlight of our first trip to England!”
“Breakfast cooked to order nice and hot and good food and value”
“Lovely cafe run by the very lovely Tammy. Lots of sausage bacon and breakfast baps were taken away and enjoyed by us all. Thank you, we will be back next time we are passing through!”

“Where to begin, we where very hungry before the Anfield tour and we came across this wonderful place. The food was delicious and just what we needed to get on with the day. Service was amazing and while it was full, they were very fast. A must visit. 200% recommended. All the best from Costa Rica! Tip: they are happy to take card but cash is preferred”
