“Quick friendly service, all your hot and cold sandwich classics made while you wait, all fresh good quality ingredients. I personally recommend getting yourself a slice of their chocolate orange cake while your there too.”
“We just popped in for a late breakfast. My other half is not a cake or scone person and almost everywhere stops serving bacon or sausage butties at 12 o clock so we were delighted to find them available here. They were very tasty and the bread was delicious, the coffee was just as I like it mellow and not bitter. The building is bright and colourful with a lovely outdoor seating area and the service was efficient and cheerful. We will certainly be back.”
“Popped in this morning after a long, hot bus ride and fancied a cuppa. Decided on a sausage sandwich and a coffee. Both arrived quickly and the sandwich was amazing. A lovely, small cafe with great, friendly staff. A very pleasant find, will definitely use here again.”
“Sophie and Erica were awesome staff, so helpful and friendly. The fish and chips was exceptional, plenty to share between the 2 of us with a garlic bread. The atmosphere was a typical English pub - great service and very warm and welcoming.”
“Just been for the first time today after hearing good things. What a lovely little place. Can't wait to pop back in again.”
“Great for younger children. Animals are obviously well cared for (although lots of caged birds and ducks some people may not like). Reasonably priced entry with lots of opportunities to pet and feed the animals. 3 members of staff actively stopped to talk to us about the animals they were caring for which was nice. Wide variety of animals including a Barn owl, ferrets, pigs, sheep, goats, alpacas, canaries, donkeys, hens, peacocks and (rescued) parrots. 2 good playgrounds and a small indoor soft play. The food in the cafe was OK. Menu catered well for dietary requirements. No picnics allowed FYI. We were there for 4 hours including food and feeding the lambs so all in all a good day out.”
“Lovely ice cream. Explained I was celiac and the girl went to the back without me asking to get a fresh tub with a clean scoop. Really appreciate the service!”
“A lovely market and also a nice place to have something to eat and drink. Lots of seating and a varied choice of food. We enjoyed our Thai food from Thai by Thai”
“Good quality accommodation at a reasonable price. The YHA has a fab recreation room, a communal kitchen, a canteen (serving a 10/10 full English/ continental breakfast) and a onside restaurant. Its also set in the most beautiful grounds around 12-15 minutes drive from Chester.”
“Very much enjoyed a sweet treat and fruit juice on my visit. The service was perfect and all the staff attentive and friendly. The surroundings; a little bit of old fashioned luxury. I was seated at 11.45am and the restaurant was really starting to fill up by 12.15pm so I would recommend booking in advance if possible. The caramel, chocolate and crumble tart shown was heavenly!”
“24 hours on the specimen lake, great facilities. Staff were great, couldn't be any more helpful and polite. One of the cleanest fisheries I have ever been on not a single rat in site!! Will definitely be returning”
“Popped into Costa Coffee in Chester and really enjoyed our visit. I had a flat white and a cheese toastie, and Pauline had an Earl Grey tea and a slice of ginger loaf – everything was tasty and well-prepared. Friendly service and a nice, relaxed atmosphere.”
“I would like thank both Emily Clegg and Amanda Jones for their assistance today with my they went out of their way to help”
“Lovely staff at Leon Chester services, food is prepared quickly and efficiently. Seating are is constantly cleaned and bins emptied. Always love their good and hot chocolate. Frequent stops taken there for food and rest.”
“Do not visit this location much but when we do it’s always nice. Quieter store, quick service and tables inside and out.”
“Lovely afternoon tea with the family on a beautiful spring day. The afternoon tea selection was excellent - everything very fresh and beautifully presented. We then spent time in the wonderful grounds with so much space for the grandkids to run around and lots of different activity installations to keep them entertained”
“It's a Tesco cafe - not the Ritz. Arrived an hour before closing time for a very late snack after a long walk and they couldn't have tried harder or been nicer to us. Told us what they had left - asked us about our walk. Super friendly - lovely people. Tea was a life saver. Children loved the croissants. Thank you!”
“Wonderful cooked full English breakfast. Plus a variety of cakes and drinks.”
“A good Asda store with a lot of parking in close proximity to several other stores. A very good clearance section today, with a cafe upstairs too. This store also has a book donation trolley for kids, we have donated several books here to the cause.”
“Great, home cooked food, cooked to order. Very well priced too.”
“Food and service was excellent will definitely return”
“Contradictory to other reviews, my experience was very good, the food was fantastic, very large cafe with lots of seating and the inside was very new and modern. First time we have seen a Tesco Cafe with the order screens. Food is decently priced, table service is ideal.”
“What can I say? Our experience with Kayes was wonderful. I treated my wife to a new engagement ring after 30 years of marriage as she'd lost a few stones from her original ring. We were served by Niamh who went above and beyond and was so welcoming. We called back a few weeks later for a free re-sizing - excellent, friendly service. Would highly recommend Kayes Jewellers. Thank you so much, Simon & Alison Ross”
“Always have to pop in when i’m in chester, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and honestly fit the vibe of the shop so well. They always have cute clothes, bags and jewellery stocked that i would genuinely give my whole life savings for. As well as so much Wiccan stuff which as a pagan is so amazing to see!! Always have to at least buy some incents when i go in because I can’t resist. Highly recommend!!”
“Incredible crepes and lovely service. Orange juice hit the spot too. Nice location as well with views of Chester’s architecture. Worth a visit if in Chester!”
“Went here recently as new to kelsall and it was lovely! Coffee, food and service all amazing :) very lucky to now have this on our doorstep.”
“A real nice place to eat lunch. Its a little bit out of the way so is usually quieter, the staff are so friendly and the food is really delicious.”
“They serve very nice coffee. Cosy, clean and comfortable coffee shop. Lovely, kind, friendly, helpful barista/staff. Highly recommended!!!”
