“we hired the outback pizza company for a birthday party with around 110 guests, they were very professional and the pizza's were amazing, all the guests commented on the quality of the food. They also catered for all our guests dietary requirements including gluten free and vegan. I would have no hesitation in booking them again and recommending to friends and family.”

“What a fun unique restaurant! From the moment you walk in Paulo , The chef/owner, welcomes you with open arms. He customized each one of our party of 8 dinners. He wants to know your level of spices , add this or that , what ever flavors you would like he can create. He had a wonderful wine list to complete our meals. It is a fun enjoyable dining experience! We would definitely go back to his restaurant!”

“Maracanã, Marcanã, what a place, I would reccomend on my life that you go here. Don't let the scaffolding on the outside fool you, this small, Brazilian sports bar to have a drink and a or a meal. It had a great selection of Brazilian food, and dont be afraid to ask the bar tender what he'd reccomend from his home land. This bar kitchen is a great place to have a meal, drink eat and watch some sports! And dont be afraid of the hot sauce! It wont hurt you. Try it with the rib pasty and some authentic south American beer. Also there is live music on a friday for you live music fans, if you like world food or are just looking for something new, give it a try, I'd certainly recommend, and ask the bar tender about the authentic food too. TLDR eat and drink here , I would reccomend the rib pasty with a authentic beer and the hot sauce. Would recommend =)”

“So much choice here, it's a bit baffling but the waiter was so helpful and took loads of time to run though all the options with us. Brilliant for vegan 'junk', loaded fries, burgers etc there are also a few home cooked meals like a shepherd's pie and Mac & cheese. Good Chinese from the Woo Tan Scran menu and you can mix and match from both menus for any meal deals. The restaurant is in the basement, so it's got a cosy vibe but no views. The family who own this place obviously put in their heart and soul , thought and a lot of hard work and it really shows. So happy to have visited and also seen amazing Carl Warner art work again!”

“We had a fabulous evening at Cargo. The staff were absolutely lovely and the food was delicious! Well worth the money. So glad we chose this restaurant. We could hear a very rude, entitled man talking to the staff very badly. It was his birthday and we had no idea what his issue was. It just seemed like he wanted to complain about anything. His wife seemed very embarrassed by him and it transpired that they had visited the restaurant many times. The staff were so polite and managed the man very well. Bravo!!”

Overall, authentic, tasty dishes and a wide range of options guarantees at least an 8/10, not the best I’ve had but definitely up there! :D”

“I visited SW with 2 girlfriends this week. They have a new Chef - Luke and a new menu. The best restaurant meal I have had in Chester it was delicious. Great menu - I started with steak tartare followed by the monkfish in lobster sauce. All beautifully prepared and presented the flavours were perfection. The staff were wonderful. Attentive without being intrusive. We had a fantastic evening. Would highly recommend.”

“Skaus is hands down one of the best brunch spots I’ve been to in Liverpool. The atmosphere is relaxed and beautifully minimal, with friendly staff who genuinely care about the experience. The menu is creative but approachable full of proper flavour, local ingredients, and thoughtful touches. I had the hot chocolate with toasted marshmallows, and it was next level rich, velvety, and topped with the most perfectly torched, gooey marshmallows I’ve ever had. Easily one of the best hot chocolates I’ve tried anywhere. There’s also a well-stocked fridge with drinks, local produce, and chilled wines all beautifully presented and perfect for grabbing something extra to take home. I also loved how everything is so well thought out, from the quality of the bread to the balance in the flavour pairings (like their miso mushrooms on toast incredible). You can tell they take a lot of pride in what they serve. Whether you’re popping in for brunch, a coffee, or a treat to go, Skaus is consistently excellent. Highly recommend!”

“I recently visited Il Capitano’s Restaurant along with the attached Bar Bolina, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience from start to finish. The pizzas were the standout—fresh, flavourful, and generously sized, all at a very reasonable price. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both quality and value so consistently, but Il Capitano’s really does. The atmosphere across both the restaurant and the bar is warm and welcoming, made even better by the genuinely friendly staff. Everyone we interacted with was attentive and upbeat, helping create a relaxed and enjoyable evening for our whole group. A special mention has to go to Evie, who looked after us exceptionally well. She was attentive without being intrusive, quick to help with anything we needed, and made sure our group felt completely taken care of. Her service truly elevated the experience. Overall, Il Capitano’s and Bar Bolina are well worth a visit—great food, great prices, and great people. Highly recommended.”
