“This is a brilliant place for children to learn new performing skills, team work, confidence building and how to create content for shows from their own imagination! Both my children came here and have grown in creativity, confidence and all of the above. I as an adult have even com to this performing arts school! If you are looking for some where for your child than this is the place! Unfortunately we have moved home, so unable to still be involved ! “After a short break from acting I went to Martin for some 1 to 1 lessons to help renew my confidence, learn and practice in an environment where it was safe to fail. Martin’s endless patience and positive approach helped me back to a place where I felt confident to start auditioning again. Highly recommend.”
“Went to see Liz Earle at The Bushell Theatre in the grounds of Birkenhead School. It was spacious, bright and modern as well as being emaculately clean. Toilets were spotless and easy to access in the foyer. Lovely theatre I would definitely go again.”
“Excellent Dance school. Variety of dance classes.”
“One of the most entertaining and original theatre groups for young children. Boundless energy!”
“I have 2 children who love the drama sessions. They’ve enjoyed the holiday club sessions as well as their regular weekly activities. My youngest has been attending right through from Tiny Tales for babies and toddlers to enjoy with parents involved, then the drop off sessions Tiny Adventures which was a lovely bridge into attending independently as it was just like Tiny Tales but without your mum! She is now going to the older children’s weekly drama class and loving it. Chantal and Laura are so nice and the groups are so friendly and social - my littlest says her favourite thing about drama is ‘pretending with her friends’ and being in the regular little showcases for family members has really increased her confidence and enjoyment of speaking in front of others. What I’ve especially liked about these is how they run them so the children all contribute at their own confidence levels without feeling any pressure to do more than they feel ready to.”
“Excellent youth center where children can join different courses. My son loves going to his acting class every week and the staff provides outstanding support for the children.”
“This is one of the loveliest places I’ve had the pleasure being a part of! I’ve made so many great friends that I will keep for life! This school makes you feel so welcome and it’s all topped off with a great show we put on every year at theatre clwyd!”
“Apparently the ex Town Hall is transitioning into a Picturehouse cinema. They've been showing weekly classic films until now; but soon they will split the cinema space into 2, so we won't have to traipse into Liverpool or New Brighton for our live broadcasts.”
