The events manager was fantastically helpful, service was brilliant, and the selection of food and drink available was fab, we didn't scratch the surface of the equipment available (mics, lights, sound etc!) but what we used was great. The pub is in a great location and has a really friendly, fun vibe... also nice late opening hours!”

“Guests came from canada and had a layover in the UK. Took them here for breakfast: Got the Haleem- absolutely divine. Never had such good Haleem before. Chaane were heavenly and tasted so authentic. The naan was so crisp but soft in the middle, tasted soo good with the Chaane and Haleem. The chai. The chai. It was so good. Added 4 moons onto the whole experience. “This is undoubtedly one of the best West Indian places in south east london. On my recent trip here, I bought a portion of curry goat, rice and peas, jerk chicken, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw and a lemon frost cake with custard. Everything I bought was delicious. I’ve had a few bad experiences with other West Indian places (taste wise) but I was pleasantly surprised with this place. I would highly recommend. The staff were really friendly, courteous and accommodating, unlike some other places. I will definitely be coming back whenever I’m in the area!”
