    The Tiger

    ★★★★☆ 4.1

“We ordered via their online menu but after an hour we asked where our meal was and the order had gone missing. Great food but service seemed to be focused on the higher value alcohol purchases. Edit. Ooops... So sorry... I had the names mixed up. I don't drink alcoholic drinks so I think this picked up being nearby... I am sure your service and atmosphere is awesome. Thank you for the polite response. My experience is that many would snap and be nasty... Will definetly come in for a Coke when I am back in the area. Adjusted the review to 5 Stars!”

    The Kings Head Enfield

    ★★★★☆ 4.1

“I am 60 and currently employed in Legal Services by Enfield Council and for the last couple of months have stayed over 2 days a week. I live in south Manchester and there are numerous local pubs but none as good as The Kings Head. The staff are incredible as is the Landlady and could not have been more friendly and the locals are the same. Quite simply one of the finest public houses I have ever been to and I have certainly been to many this last 42 years or so all around the country.”

“Charlie's Bar in Brentwood is a great place to hang out, especially if you’re into a good range of beers. The selection is solid, and the relaxed vibe makes it a great spot for a casual drink. They’ve got a pool table too. Although we didn’t try the food, the bar itself was nice. Worth a visit if you’re in the area!”

    Duchess Belle

    ★★★★☆ 4.1

“My visit to The Duchess Belle was a thoroughly enjoyable experience that combined the charm of a traditional pub with a lively, modern atmosphere. Located in Battersea, the venue has a welcoming feel, with stylish interiors, cozy corners, and a vibrant buzz that makes it perfect for both casual drinks and social evenings. The food was excellent. The pub classics – from fish & chips to hearty burgers – were well‑cooked, generous in portion, and full of flavor. Seasonal specials added variety and showed thoughtful attention to fresh ingredients. The menu also offered vegetarian options, making it inclusive and balanced. The drinks selection was impressive, featuring local ales, craft beers, and a curated wine list. Everything felt carefully chosen to complement the food and enhance the overall experience. Service was friendly, attentive, and professional. The staff created a welcoming environment, offering recommendations and ensuring that guests felt looked after throughout the visit. What made the visit special was the combination of great food and drink, cozy atmosphere, and genuine hospitality. It felt less like a simple pub stop and more like a place to connect, relax, and enjoy Battersea’s community spirit. Overall, The Duchess Belle is a must‑visit in London – a pub that blends tradition with modern energy, offering delicious food, drinks, and a convivial atmosphere.”

“If you’re looking for a delightful spot to unwind, look no further than this charming establishment. I recently enjoyed a lovely pint of Fuller's London Pride for the astonishing price of just £1.99—what a steal! The beer was perfectly poured, with a rich flavour that truly captured the essence of a classic British ale. The atmosphere here is nothing short of inviting. The staff is incredibly friendly, always ready with a smile and attentive service that makes you feel right at home. The place is clean, warm, and welcoming, providing the perfect environment to relax and enjoy your drink. Whether you're stopping by for a quick pint after work or settling in for a cosy evening, this pub has everything you need. I can’t recommend it highly enough! Cheers to great beer and fantastic service!”

Food was good and their popular and most talked about Spare ribs were as good as I remember them to be all those years ago. The rest of the food we had was average but tasty.”
