“Really very happy with my manicure & pedicure. The nail technician, I think her name was Iwona (apologies if I’ve got that wrong) gave me an exceptional service. I’m very impressed with the nail art, it’s exactly as I wanted it (cute & subtle) and I think l she did a fantastic job. It’s not easy to be so precise but she nailed it (forgive the pun!) Aside from the expert skill, she was very sweet, polite & friendly - it was an absolute pleasure to get my nails done by her at London Grace and I left feeling really pampered :) This place is more expensive that what I’m used to paying for but it’s definitely worth it - I will come back as treat whenever I can :) Thank you!”

“I enjoyed a lovely lunch with a friend today at M Bar & Kitchen. I ordered the Club Sandwich (& chips!) and WOW! Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. As it is located within a residential village, not many people realise it is actually open to the general public for brunch, lunch and dinner. (As someone who eats Gluten Free, my needs were catered for really well and I was reassured about the ingredients in the dish and the preparation process.)”

“The overall dining experience was truly delightful, and the food comes in very generous portions. I ordered the Lamb Cutlets, which is my preferred dish at every restaurant I visit, and the serving here was easily the best size I have ever encountered. The dish consisted of four substantial pieces, and the portion was definitely satisfying. I left the restaurant feeling completely full and content. I would highly recommend this establishment and plan to visit again soon. The staff was also friendly and exceptionally helpful, adding to the overall positive atmosphere.”

“Can't believe I have never reviewed this place. Consistently quality service, music and obviously beers. 8 craft on draught, and cask option plus bottle cans available. Every time we come through this town this is one of the many highlights. Close to trainline which is both Metropolitan tube to/from London and Chiltern Rail to other places etc... Recommended”

“Wow just wow! I found this little gem not too long again and haven’t left since! The atmosphere and staff are unbeatable and prices are so reasonable. If you’re looking for a little pre drink vibe before your night out or a night at the pub with all your best mates this is the place. “Fantastic concept. Essentially an artisan off-licence which also operates as a bar. It’s stylish, friendly, spacious and stocked with a great range of homemade bottled cocktails and home brand gins in different sizes. We bought a small bottle of the grapefruit gin and he served it with some Mediterranean Fevertree Tonic, garnished with a grapefruit slice. He also sells some locally sourced antipasti options which looked fabulous.”

“Private dinner at Home with Roy’s Restaurant! Head Chef Daniel Jones from Roy’s, designed and created 2 parallel, 7 course menus, one fish and one meat for a wonderful evening at home for 8 friends. It was a gastronomic delight, the produce was of the highest quality and the presentation second to none. If you are a foodie, this is the chef for you, thank you Dan and Gaby.”

“Fantastic place to stop and shop for a bottle, or even better sit down and have a glass or two. Excellent, carefully chosen selection of wine. Great recommendations from the wonderful Mandi: a great value Ribera and a surprisingly top notch Californian (Brickmason). We took a table and really enjoyed a few hours of some great wine, lovely cheese, cool music, and a generally lovely time.”

“This is everything you want from a steakhouse. Buzzing atmosphere, no bells and whistles, great staff, corkage and above all, top notch scran! The front-of-house lady was welcoming and warm. Our waiter for the evening, Phil, was fantastic all evening. The pigs head on toast was a nice warm up for the pallette, reminiscent of tender pulled pork and drizzled in that delightful Blacklock gravy. We brought a bottle 2018 Berry Bros and Rudd Zinfandel along with us (highly recommended with steak) and it was the cherry on top of our evening. The T-Bone chop was very nice. Although a little on the fatty side, it was cooked beautifully and tasted fresh. The grilled baby gems in anchovie dripping were quite nice but had a little fishy taste to it. The showstopper was the 600g prime rib steak. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned, juicy, tender, and didnt even need a sauce. The green sauce and Blacklock gravy were fantastic sauces however. The chips were spot on, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Yes the cheesecake is absolutely the go-to dessert here and it deserves such acclaim.”

“Visited last Monday during a week-long stag celebration and wow what a hidden gem! The garlic bread is quite honestly the best we’ve ever tasted and the cocktails were superb - and I think we tried the entire menu between us! Wonderful service, stayed open for us too. “We called in on Saturday and were lucky enough to find a table. The atmosphere was amazing, with great music, and for this reason we decided to stay here rather than move to another bar. The bartender was very friendly and engaging and mixed us up some great cocktails, I recommend the Yazu Tom Collins and Salted Caramel Okd Fashioned. I also recommend the bar bites, the karaage chicken bites are delicious. Highly recommended for a Saturday night”
