“By far the best pub in Richmond. We regularly go to the Mitre, as they serve really fresh cask ales that change regularly. They also serve fantastic pizza’s where you can choose your own toppings or have the monthly special. We often get the dough balls as they are the perfect accompaniment to a few pints! Definitely get down there if your in the area!”
“Great for Turkish coffee ☕️ Haven’t tried any food yet”
“We took our dog here for the first time...it was excellent! She's a bit shy but the staff were professional and kept her calm. The groom was honestly one the best we've had. I highly recommend them.”
“Amazing people and amazing skills from everyone in this shop, everyone is always so friendly and you’re welcomed in by all, you’re included in conversations with other customers and the technique is outstanding, I will not go anywhere else for my nails and I always come out happy and feeling more confident, I would highly recommend this shop.”
“I’ve driven past Sift for the last two years, but today I finally stopped in—and I’m so glad I did. This place is a true Kew gem, serving up smooth cortados and mouth-watering cakes and pastries. I tried the Spanish and feta pie, and it was absolutely spectacular. Don’t miss the chance to check it out!”
“My favorite place in Kew Gardens. It is really humid and warm, so be warned. But it is totally worth it! The water lilies are beautiful and they also have a nice collection of passionflowers.”
“Ducane Dry Cleaners is my go-to choice for all my clothing care needs. I've been a loyal customer for a while now, and they consistently exceed my expectations. Their attention to detail is impeccable, and my clothes always come back looking fresh and well-cared for. What sets Ducane apart is their outstanding customer service. The staff is friendly, courteous, and always ready to assist with a smile. They genuinely care about their customers and go the extra mile to ensure satisfaction. I've also utilized their tailoring services, and the results are simply impressive. The tailors are skilled craftsmen, and whether it's a minor alteration or a more complex task, they deliver perfection. In addition to their quality work, Ducane offers timely service. I appreciate their quick turnaround, especially for those last-minute wardrobe emergencies. Overall, Ducane Dry Cleaners is a gem in the dry cleaning industry. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch clothing care and exceptional customer service. They've earned my trust and loyalty, and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Thank you, Ducane, for consistently exceeding expectations!”
“Stopped by the other day and was blown away! The coffee was outstanding, which is so hard to find in London. Made me feel like I was abroad. Croissants were also spot-on, and the owner was so warm and kind. When you step out of the station, turn right, and it’s about a minute’s walk. The kind of place you go out of your way to visit again!”
“Very elegant, nice and quiet place for breakfast or lunch. Feeling warm and cozy sitting by the side of the window. It’s shame that the menu is not available today but still have variety food selection including toast, sandwiches, cake, tart or cookies etc. Latte smell really good and hot. The seller patiently explain to us what ingredients for the sandwich while my little one can’t eat spicy. It’s a 5 stars cafe!”
“The food and spices were amazing. The turmeric latte is life changing with subtle hints of rose and cinnamon. The food is sublime and healthy with fresh high quality ingredients and unique dishes. The flavors are subtle, layered and blended which come together in a delicious beautiful symphony for the taste buds. The unique flavors will have you thinking about your eating experience for days afterwards. The staff are so friendly and welcoming it’s like you are sitting at the table at their home. It’s a gem of as place and definitely worth a visit!”

Every time we go there if it is just for a coffee, family breakfast or lunch, there is always plenty options to choose from tasty food and yummy deserts. The staff is so polite and helpful, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Thanks Mario for the wonderful care given to us. Forever repeat customers!””
“First time visiting after seeing the positive reviews, and I thought I’d give them a try. I was greeted by two lovely ladies who took my order. I had the Labbuffata breakfast and was blown away! It was so flavorful and beautifully presented. Thank you for the amazing experience!”
“I absolutely love it here. Most welcoming cafe in sheen. The family is delightful and I love learning new Turkish words when I come. I love the Borek and the cakes too.”
“Absolutely incredible Italian restaurant. Every dish was so tasty, loved the music and the service was brilliant. Giuseppe made us feel so welcome and was great with recommendations. The pasta is all freshly made in house and you can really tell because it’s so delicious. The pistachio tiramisu is a must try!! Bottomless brunch is only £20 aswell, such great value; includes bottomless Aperol spritz and prosecco.”
“Saw T J Johnson here - he is always first class - but the venue was great and a massive thank you yo the lady doing the table service - she made sure the drinks kept coming - and a very happy dispisition”
“I haven't been to Beyzade in a few years until last Saturday and the food is even greater! Great food, great atmosphere and very clean toilets..what else would you want.. No wonder why its so packed, keep up please-:)”
“The finest slow-cooked beef rib I have ever encountered. This dish was a revelation: perfectly succulent, masterfully cooked, and bursting with depth of flavor. An absolutely unforgettable plate. I would wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to everyone.”
“Sat a outside on a cute street with lots of small village charm. This is an adorable petit French bistro! Unfortunately the chicken dish was out, so I opted for the vegetarian item of the day. It's was delicious. I started with the French onion soup, per recommendations. It was good, but I regret not trying something else. Highly recommend stopping by after a visit to Kew!”
“Wonderful staff, food, and accommodations. Couldn't have asked for a better stopover in Richmond.”
“I had a fascinating first visit to the National Archives researching my family history. I started my application online for a readers card which is essential to be able too use the full archive but it was a simple process, which I completed when I arrived at Kew. The assistance I received from the staff at the National Archive was excellent, they were patient and understanding and seemed to have as much time to give as was needed to help visitors get the best out of their visit. Parking... There is adequate parking available which is payable using machines in the main foyer. Blue Badge Parking... There is a good number of Parking spaces for those with Blue Badges, split between the front and back of the building. Disabled Access... The building is well designed for all people using the facilities, with ramps and lifts as an alternative to stairs. Toilet facilities are equally well thought out. Food and Drink... There is a large refreshment area with both casual seating if you're just having a quick Coffee plus a large number of places to eat at tables. Be sure to check the closing time of the hot food service, it isn't the same as the Archives. I went on a Thursday which is the late opening day of the National Archives, yet although the archive wasn't closing until 7pm, the hot food stopped at 2pm and there definitely wasn't a full choice of options at 1.30pm. There is book-come-gift shop on the same floor as the refreshment area.”
“This place deserves much higher review points. Everything is perfect. Literally perfect It has been around many years. Feels so cosy with carpet and cushion decoration. Lighting and music really on point and good. Really helpful staff. Enough time between the meals. Had beef tartare and tempura squid and prawn as a starter. Burger and beef stroganoff for main. Cost around £60 per person inc service charge which is really reasonable for the quality they are providing. Thanks”
“Small but perfectly formed. Excellent coffee from attentive and friendly staff.”
“Fabulous service, foods and fresh tasty coffee's from an independent cafe in a super location which helps lots of lovely young people increase their confidence and experience in the community. Brilliant management thank you for your work with Cafe Sunshine.”
“Wonderful little brunch cafe with excellent food and friendly service! The cafe is nice, with a chilled out, relaxed feel to it. Lots of seating in the garden outside and some tables on the street at the front. The food is excellent. Very tasty. Full English was done very well with excellent quality sausages!”
“I’ve been visiting this lovely café in Putney quite often lately, and it’s become one of my go-to spots in the area. The atmosphere is calm and inviting never too noisy, just the right place to relax, read, or catch up with friends. The staff are always friendly and attentive, and there’s a genuine warmth in the service that makes you feel welcome every time you walk in. The coffee is consistently good, smooth and full of flavor. You can tell they care about quality; every cup feels freshly made. But what truly stands out here is their banana bread it’s freshly baked every morning, perfectly moist, and has that subtle hint of cinnamon that makes it irresistible. It’s simple but absolutely delicious, and no surprise that it sells out quickly during the day. Beyond coffee and pastries, the food menu is also impressive. They have tasty brunch options and light meals that are fresh, well-prepared, and nicely presented. Everything feels made with care rather than rushed or pre-made. Overall, this place has a really nice vibe great coffee, fresh food, and genuinely kind people. Definitely worth a visit if you’re around Putney!”
“I recently visited Artisan Coffee, just a short 5-minute walk from Putney Station, and had such a lovely experience! There’s an Italian barista there who truly stands out – she is warm, hospitable, and has such a kind, welcoming presence. She makes excellent coffee with great attention to detail, and her patience and friendly attitude toward every customer really make the café feel special. It’s rare to find someone so professional yet genuinely caring. Highly recommend this spot for both the amazing coffee and the wonderful service!”
“A sensational afternoon tea experience. The teas were unusual and delicious. The food, both savory and sweet, was freshly made, and of superior quality. Topping it all off, an elegant yet understated atmosphere with friendly, attentive service. A special thanks to the sweet blonde waitress who helped us with our language skills with uncommon patience and attention.”
