“A wonderful gem of a place. Coffee/tea/hot chocolate and so much more. All expertly made by the very handsome gentleman. It’s lovely to see someone who takes so much care in what they do. The coffee is amazing. Love that Niall can tell you everything about his coffee and where it comes from. He takes great care with sourcing all his ingredients. He will make sure you’re happy with your cuppa and goes the extra mile. His toasties are fantastic and so tasty!! There’s always something delicious to try. It’s so lovely to be able to sit down and enjoy your meal/coffee surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers. Four leaf is set in a family run garden centre right next to the train station. Such a gorgeous place to sit and relax.”

The couple that run it are the nicest people and I have been going here for years ever since my dad bought me a chicken wrap with extra garlic and chilli sauce. “Amazing food, beautiful decor, great atmosphere, and wonderful staff with a good sense of humour. Tables are usually for 2 or 4 (with indoor and outdoor seating) but they pushed some together to seat 6 of us together. Can't recommend enough!”

“The coffee and the texture of the oat milk in my flat white was flawless. I love the interior design and the beautiful cups, plus the staff are friendly and served the coffee with a smile! The location is ideal next to the river, and my dog was welcome too. The only downside is that the tables/ space are quite cramped. I wouldn't recommend sitting in - after all, less than 100m down the road are benches by the river.”

The service was genuinely top-notch, and every dish we tried—from the chicken souvlaki and sea bream to the saganaki, baklava, and portokalopita—was delicious. “'Love your suit! looks great!' - Robert Elms, unprompted. Neil is lovely guy and makes wonderful suits! I want to go in sometimes just to feel the material! Gorgeous cloth and suits not as expensive as you might imagine but also, incredible value for what it does cost. You can't beat putting on a jacket (sorry, coat!) that was made just for you and fits around you like a glove. As soon as I got a suit from Neil I stopped wearing my off the peg ones as they simply did not come close even regarding the cloth, never mind the fit. The whole process was very enjoyable and the end product thrilling. Need to go for my next one soon.... every time I put on a Birkett suit I feel ready to take on the world. Can't recommend it highly enough.”

“Usually head up to Twickenham on the weekends so surprised I haven’t popped into visit this place already as been looking for a decent breakfast/brunch venue in the area. This place doesn’t disappoint. Full Breakfast and brunch menu and really attentive staff. Ordered the house breakfast with tea - very good portion (the beans surprisingly good) - also do Eggs Florentine and Eggs Bendict but next time will try the Traditional Shakshuka. Only a short walk from Twickenham station, near the William Web Ellis pub.”

“Great, unusual cuisine and lovely food. Ever since Soul opened, we have been coming for breakfast, brunch and dinner and have never been disappointed. The food is really unique, using ingredients like jackfruit, and very healthy. Recommend the avocado and the roast cauliflower among other dishes. The wine selection is quite impressive. Lovely service and team. We’re fast becoming regulars for sure.”

“We live nearby and visit this cafe frequently. Always very polite and friendly staff to all (not sure what you need to do to make them angry as one person said in his review). I love their croque monsure (please forgive my French) with goat cheese, cakes, coffee is also lovely. Clean and tidy, they do alterations to accomodate my baby food requirements ehich is very important for me. Thank you))”

“Visited on a Thursday for Irish music night. The pub is lit with candles. It’s cosy and atmospheric. Music started around 9.30pm and it was traditional Irish music. Enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the toilets were clean. Outside garden available if needed.”

“I’ve been here many times since first coming across it, almost always to have food and it has never disappointed!! The food is so good, the staff are lovely and the prices are more than reasonable. As someone who is rarely impressed by food when eating out, I’m still suprised that everything I or my friends have ordered here has been delicious, from kebabs, to burgers to fajitas. Come hungry, the portions are huge!”

Their tea range is great and very happy that they sell hojicha latte. Pastries are great quality and good value for money. Good playlists as well, and team are always friendly and helpful.”

“Really lovely pub where the Sunday lunch is epic! I didn’t even take a picture of my pie but it was incredible - completely homemade and will defo return! If you want a full Sunday Roast then you need to book - but we were lucky there were pies available for the walk-ins! Staff super friendly and attentive and food incredible! AJ’s Pies are perfect!”
