“We had reserved a Christmas lunch for ten individuals at a different Green King establishment. After receiving only generic confirmation emails and no further communication, we visited the pub a week prior to our booking, only to discover it was still under construction. Dec, the Area Manager, was present and clarified that a mix-up had occurred, and our reservation should have been canceled. Following some concern, Dec successfully rebooked our lunch arrangements at the Barney Arns in Twickenham. Our visit to the Barney Arms was met with exceptional service from Chloe, who demonstrated remarkable helpfulness and understanding, effectively alleviating any concerns we had. Our Christmas luncheon was exceptional, characterized by outstanding cuisine and a superb ambiance. The staff provided exemplary service. Dec, Chloe, and the team provided exceptional assistance. We will certainly be rebooking for next year. Thank you for making our Christmas Day truly special.”
“Really lovely pub where the Sunday lunch is epic! I didn’t even take a picture of my pie but it was incredible - completely homemade and will defo return! If you want a full Sunday Roast then you need to book - but we were lucky there were pies available for the walk-ins! Staff super friendly and attentive and food incredible! AJ’s Pies are perfect!”
“I’ve been here many times since first coming across it, almost always to have food and it has never disappointed!! The food is so good, the staff are lovely and the prices are more than reasonable. As someone who is rarely impressed by food when eating out, I’m still suprised that everything I or my friends have ordered here has been delicious, from kebabs, to burgers to fajitas. Come hungry, the portions are huge!”
“Didn't eat so food rating given for the beer. A lovely place, a classic pub, with beautifully kept beer from craft brewers. If you enjoy wonderful beer, you must visit!”
“Happened across this place while in search of good quality coffee in the Green neighbourhood and found precisely that! Sapori has a pleasant atmosphere, cozy shop vibes, and really friendly and kind service. Hope to be back one day! Their chai lattes are like, really, realllllllly delicious! :)”
“Took my sister and her friends to this lovely place! Amazing Service, amazing cat and great vibes overall:). 10/10 definitely recommend!”
“Good coffee, cute decor, really good range of lunch foods. Service was a little cold to begin with but it improved with each interaction. Overall a nice cafe and good to support independent business”
“A great place to go pre-match at Twickenham. I had linguine, was lovely, the tomatoes tasted great. Next time though I would order some garlic bread. Nice traditional pub decor.”
“My recent dining at Brouge Gastropub was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, it was a culinary delight. The food was delicious. I had a steak, and it was cooked to perfection - tender, juicy and bursting with flavour. The cocktails were also wonderful. The staff was helpful and attentive, making sure our dining experience was top-notch. The desserts were superb and nicely served. I highly recommend this restaurant.”
“I’m a big fan of this local pub. I used to live just around the corner, and it truly felt like a second home — or even a cosy grandparents’ house. It’s surprisingly spacious, with chic dried flower arrangements on every table (even the cutlery boxes are lovely). The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and the staff are friendly, smiling, and attentive — not overbearing, just genuinely kind and efficient. They regularly rotate seasonal beers, so there’s always something new to try, and the food is consistently good. You can watch sports on TV, play darts, enjoy a few board games, and there’s even something to keep the kids entertained. A proper gem of a pub.”
“This hotel/pub it was a nice random place that surprised us with a delicious burger and a nice kind of relaxing atmosphere. Kind of because it is by the main road, but relaxing because it was sunny, you can see Thames river over the road and enjoy a pint and some food. The staff was friendly, quite helpful, and polite even they were massively understaffed and they were running all over. The management should do their job better and not exploy their people, but ot might be the exception as it was a sunny day and lots of people joined us so this time I will not consider this in my review. We will update it if we return, and it will be a similar situation. Parking is available on the back of the hotel or on the side streets, but with limited access.”
“Great food , Italian recipes and very friendly staff . Did enjoyed the lovely bruschetta and the prawn marinated salad together with some home made spinach bread . The steak was cooked in perfect. Highly recommended.”
“A lovely little coffee shop to stop by for your coffee before a walk to Marble Hill, their coffee is absolutely excellent.”
“Very nice. The coffee is a reasonable price, and very good quality - it doesn't taste like a dark roast so there is lots of room for the lighter flavours to come out. The staff are lovely. Unusual armchairs to sit in, or more traditional seating towards the back. Lots of accompanying food is offered, with gluten-free options available. It's so much better than a chain brand - and independent businesses are worth supporting. My cappuccino was £2.40. Loyalty cards are available. This could well be my favourite coffee in central Twickenham since The Coffee Lab closed down. Well worth a visit.”
“I have been a regular customer at the Harris + Hoole branch in St Margaret’s for almost two years now, and I can honestly say it is outstanding in every way. The place is always spotless and well-kept, which makes the environment really pleasant. The staff are incredibly polite, genuinely friendly, and noticeably professional in how they handle everything. What I especially appreciate is their balance of warmth and efficiency — they create such a welcoming atmosphere, yet at the same time they are so focused and quick that the queue always moves faster than you’d expect. Every single team member in this branch, both the guys and the girls, are absolutely brilliant. The managers are truly fortunate to have such exceptional staff, and it clearly shows in the quality of service delivered here. Harris + Hoole St Margaret’s is simply excellent.”**”
“This is a lovely little French restaurant, with pretty French music! The French bread and caper butter was very delicious had to order more bread to finish off the yummy butter! My partner ordered the scallops and I got the pea soup - both very tasty! The decor is lovely, wooden floors and velvet blue sofas. The veal and plaice was quite good and the dauphinoise was excellent! Would definitely recommend and want to try the lobster ravioli next time!”
“Food is the star of the show , amazing prices and big portions”
“Sunday Roast was incredible, thanks to head Chef Dennis and our friendly waitress Bert, she is a little Star! Not forgetting the friendly bar staff, Fran and Leon. Always such a lovely atmosphere and experience. Huge well done guys. Keep up the great work, to the managers Nats and TJ”
“We booked the shack for our evening wedding reception. All our guests had a fab time and really enjoyed the darts. Terri & team were very accommodating and we were able to get in the day before to decorate. We’d absolutely book this venue again for a private party!! Thank you so much Terri and shout out to Jack for being a fab bartender all evening!”
“Franklyn is the BEST! From the moment we arrived he was so lovely, kind, and genuinely made our whole experience amazing. He went above and beyond for us, and when a man started bothering us, Franklyn handled it in the kindest, quickest and most professional way possible. We were super impressed by how calm and caring he was, and it honestly made us feel so safe and looked after. People like Franklyn are rare – he truly made the difference and turned our night into something special. Couldn’t recommend him more! Coming back thanks all to him. If anyone deserves recognition — and a pay rise — it’s Franklyn. He is truly an asset to the team and a shining example of what outstanding customer service looks like. Thank you, Franklyn, for making our night unforgettable!”
“Impressive I was in and out for an Xray in 15 mins well done NHS!”
“I would just like to say that I am very particular about my coffee’s. Having said that. The staff in Puccinos make the best coffee and are very efficient. Very friendly and the premise is super clean. I would highly recommend their sandwiches which are fresh always. Thank you for starting my day off brightly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“As a regular customer of Costa Coffee in Whitton , I am consistently impressed by the exceptional quality of their beverages and the warm, friendly demeanor of their staff. Each morning, I’m greeted with a cheerful smile, and my coffee is expertly prepared, setting a positive tone for the day ahead. The baristas’ attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction are truly commendable. I deeply appreciate the consistent excellence in both service and product that Costa Coffee provides with every visit. Big thank you for Qawtar and Zeinab and all the staff .”
“Lovely place for a catchup with friends, or a quiet place to catch up on some work. Definitely recommend.”
“This is our favourite café in Twickenham, perfectly located adjacent to Orleans House Gallery and with views of the gallery's woodland garden. The café is kept very clean and has good Covid protocols and plenty of outdoor seating beneath generous umbrellas in the stables courtyard. The café also has 6 or so indoor booths, which are perfect for working or catching up with a friend. We love the selection of delicious cakes, well-prepared snacks, excellent coffee and friendly staff.”
“Great little coffee shop with helpful staff and decent seating.”
“Amazing hospitality displayed, such a warm and cozy environment that makes you feel right at home, the drinks were great straight from the draft, amazing service by all the staff. I even managed to get to know some by name, Samuel and Tatiana, had a lovely time they make the place feel like home. Will be coming back once we visit Twickenham again definitely need more of Tatiana food. Thanks!”
“Although we didn't have food, it was a great pub that captured the atmosphere of the occasion of a big match at Twickenham. It will now become my go-to pub on match day.”
“We had the pleasure of eating here over 2 days (morning and evening) We were staying at Premier Inn next door due to work. Sharon and Jack could not do enough to make our experience a very pleasant one. Everything done with a smile and a chat. I had the steak and ale pie Monday evening - just WOW! Tuesday evening Katsu chicken - equally as nice. Sharon was on breakfast Tuesday morning and we were met with a smile and a lovely greeting and very nice breakfast. Jackie looked after us yesterday and was lovely and attentive too. Lovely food, brilliant staff great atmosphere.”
