“What can I say, this place is full of information with endless activities. I was amazed at how much is done here even though it looks very small from the outside. I travelled an hour to use the Cranial Therapy and the lady is amazing. I urge any locals who don't avail of the services here to do so as you're blessed to have it at your doorstep, no word of a lie. Lovely, clean place and my 3 visits were wonderful. “It's a nice hostel by LHA (not self catered). The rent paid has 2 complementary meals a day. And it's a very quiet, peaceful and serene environment. The ambiance is the best I've seen having visited 3 other hostels (Halpin House, Belvedere House and Railton House) owned by LHA”

“Have used the soft play with my nephew a couple of times . I have say that the gentleman who was on the reception desk was so kind. He saw that I was heavily pregnant and bought me out a chair to sit whilst my nephew played. The chairs had been removed due to Covid but he made an exception. It was such a kind gesture and can’t thank him enough.”

“Amazing venue with amazing staff . We know the venue well so were happy to book the venue for a 70th birthday party. We booked the Glindon Room as this was on the ground floor and perfect for our guests as some were in wheelchairs. Preparation for the event was really easy and managed by George. Everything was perfect on the day, the room looked lovely, the buffet was fabulous and the staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Anyone planning a celebration and looking for a venue should consider Metropolitan Bushey”

“I love this place. I have a membership, and it has a huge amount of classes for fitness to choose. The pools are huge indoor and outdoor. Staff are friendly, and fitness teachers are amazing. Better is a great gym, and I would recommend it to everyone. During summer you can use the Lido pool and have yoga, aqua aerobics outside. There is a car parking with lots of spaces. If you are a member of the gym, you can pay a fee of £5 at the staff desk and your Registration will be added to the Council list and you will have up to 4h free in the car park for a year.”

“Great staff, very accommodating and friendly. Hydropool and main pool could be a bit hotter at times but some people like it cooler so you can't please everyone. Shannon is absolutely brilliant and is on top of everything, the hydropool is always hot when she is around which helps with my back problems, when she is on shift, she is on top of everything and you can count on things to be tip top shape. Never a dull moment.”

“I had my son's swimming party here and it was fantastic. The staff were so helpful and the pool looked amazing with the sensory lights, swim toys and music. We did not feel rushed to leave at the end and were given a huge room for cake and food. Thank you for a great day. I would really recommend this venue.”

“Golds gym is a great all rounder gym with great changing rooms which house a woman’s only jacuzzi, steam and sauna. The swimming pool is great and also has another jacuzzi. The gym has two floors of equipment, with an extensive weight selection. The classes are very popular so book early to avoid dis-appointment. The cleaners work really hard in keeping the gym lovely and clean and the staff are all very helpful and welcoming.”

“I wanted to take the opportunity to say how much I appreciate Zoe and her team when it comes to making our busy family diaries work. It always causes a clash when one of our little ones moves between swim stages. We also have the added complication of new clubs, etc., clashing with swim lessons. Zoe is always quick to respond with several options/ideas of making it work. She is a magician!”

“Lovely place for all things exercise and activities from small babies to adults. There something for everyone one. For special occasion to random moments. Make sure you download the Lambeth active app, helpful to find out prices and timings. It's a little pricey at the present, like anything £ in London is gone up. But the staff is helpful and kind. If you need support just ask. We had to go down tge road £ shop to buy gloves for Ice skating, but the children had a blast. Ten out of ten. Lovely facilities all clean and working. Gym, swimming pool, ice skating and soft play, ...café...and more. Parking by Tesco next door. If you have questions call.”

“Aqua aerobics donyngs redhill brilliant class very popular i love it. There is one life guard that occasionally disrups class by turning down the music very rude as its £10.30 a class. Other then that the class is brilliant. Aqua aerobics teacher is brilliant.”

“I had not been to this venue for many years, but it remains an oasis of calm in the very heart of the city. From pool to gym, dance studio to cafe, facilities are excellent, the ethos unique and a cool vibe. Membership incredibly cheap for what it offers, even as an informal meeting place or resource for local schools etc. Long may it continue.”

“My daughter has been attending the 5 year old swimming lessons here and I couldn’t be happier with her progress. She’s learning so well and growing in confidence each week. The staff are amazing and I feel have been patient, encouraging and always make the lessons fun. The centre itself is clean, well-run and really welcoming.
