“I walked in here for the first time in 9 years and it had changed drastically, in a positive way. I was greeted with smiles which instantly lifted my mood. “I can't say enough great things about our weekly visits to Ask Italian. It's become a Sunday family tradition that we all look forward to every week. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to unwind after a busy week. What truly makes our experience special are the wonderful girls, Niki and Anna. They are consistently friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure we feel welcome. Their genuine interactions with my kids add an extra layer of joy to our visits. It’s heartwarming to see how they engage with them, making them feel special and included. The food is consistently delicious, with a variety of options that cater to everyone’s tastes. “Charlie who served our table was really lovely. Great service with a smile, give her a pay rise. The whole team was really helpful and they seemed to want to be there. Charlie gave a hearty welcome and gave us a table explaining the online ordering process. The wait for the food was appropriate. And she checked to make sure everything was ok. I saw her support an elderly couple who were struggling with the whole QR code situation with their order. Overall I'm happy and will recommend, 4 stars as I thought the prices for what you get weren't great.”

“We were had breakfast there today,(also eveing meals) the food was lovely, loved the porridge. The 2 ladies Beverly and Anita were very friendly and chatty felt comfortable and relaxed. “Really loved it here, new restaurant on boardwalk in Lakeside, was on the way to Wagamama but saw this and walked in. Service, Food and drink along with the restaurant and location are nearly faultless, or they were for our visit. Good bits Cocktails: honey bee and rum crumble delicious Starters: Lobster bonbons and King prawn and Lobster bites dish, presented beautifully and delicious, was piping hot also Mains: Ramen broth with sirloin, spicy and interesting, better than Wagamama (bit more expensive but worth it). Wagu burger with truffle fries, very hot and fresh, moist lovely texture Bad bits Am really being critical here and these are mentioned as to help the restaurant Glass stuck to table (I pretended to be a magician and two waitresses couldn't move it) table and / or glass obviously not clean and dried 100% Fantastic meal and visit, thanks very much was first meal out in a long time Good luck with this new venture and we will return soon Waitress spilled a bit of my cocktail”
