“Excellent foods as usual, the pasta, risotto, pizza. Good quality of ingredients. Service was excellent, a bit of wait for the foods but it so worth it.”

“Very different experience to cook your own food. Food was tasty and fresh. The outside of the restaurant did look closed as the windows were incredibly dirty, but the inside was clean and tidy. Would definitely go again next month. We got the beef selection and the Kimchi bokum bab rice.”

“It was so good we’re definitely going back again. We had the copa ham & mackerel pate to start which were both really delicate. Followed by the cabbage which, I don’t normally get excited by cabbage but this was great! Super flavours and dressing. We also had the fish noodles which were like pasta but again really delicate. I had the char siu pork which was incredible value for money and we had to have the prawn toast. This is more like a donut texture with prawns inside covered in a mountain of Parmesan - amazing! Booking a table is recommended”

“First time coming to Marlo’s and it was amazing. Very small , beautiful place. The staff were amazing and very smiley , service was so great , very attentive. The food was really lovely, very clean tasting , I had the vegetarian breakfast I recommend it 100% . The coffee was so nice as well. You should definitely go if you are looking for a nice breakfast date .”

The ambiance is bright and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a wonderful experience. The brunch menu is simply amazing, offering a variety of colorful dishes that are not only visually appealing but also generously portioned. I had the pleasure of trying the egg shakshuka, potato rosti, avocado smash toast, matcha cappuccino, and pancakes. Among these, the egg shakshuka and matcha cappuccino stood out as my favorites. The flavors were rich and satisfying, and the presentation was top-notch. I also want to mention the fantastic staff who were incredibly helpful with the menu and provided quick, attentive service throughout my visit.”

“A seemly unlikely area for one of the best Italian restaurants in London. The venue is in a small fort-like building so the setting is intimate and the menu choices is compact. All the pasta is made in house so expect some excellent tasting dishes. The vegetarian ravioli was some of the best that I have ever had. And the ragu was excellent -so I was told.”

“You can see the people disembarking at Totteridge and whetstone while theyre still on the tube, as they're on their phones pondering the Tiffin Tin menu and placing orders ready for collection. All of the dishes I've tried are delicious. I've particularly enjoyed the tandoori salmon and aubergine paloong. Even the mint sauce and raita are unique and delicious. They'll make dishes hotter on request too.”

“The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is located in a quite central London area and is easily accessible by both the bus and the subway. The dishes prepared are based on genuine, fresh Italian products that make the portions excellent. You should definitely try the pizzas, very good, that are easy to digest and also the pasta prepared with originality, but respecting the original Italian flavors. The tiramisu is also exceptional. The service is fast. The room is not big, so is recommend booking.”

“Truly enjoyed the tasting menu. Wonderful in every detail. Generous portion or, in fact, this is setting a good standard that any restaurant needs to give the dish substantial form and food to eat in order to taste and enjoy when providing a multiple course tasting menu. Lobster ravioli was my favourite. Pasta was al dente, and lobster meat inside was full of flavours and textures. The lobster bisque had a Thai style hint to it and some vege at the bottom to balance it out. Lamb main with the lamb sausage was a bit too strong in taste for me, but I liked it for the fact that the tasting menu was an experience to try out the chef's specialities. The pre-dessert was phenomenal and was my second favourite for this menu. Welcome snacks and petit four had shown the chef had put in a lot of effort and creativity to make the meal memorable and fun.”
