“I can’t recommend Gielly Green enough! Ava Marie did an incredible job with my hair colour – she’s extremely professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely talented. I always leave the salon feeling so confident and refreshed. Joe gave me a gorgeous haircut that perfectly complements the colour – he really understood what I wanted and delivered it flawlessly. The whole experience at Gilley Green is always relaxing and welcoming. A top-tier team who know exactly what they’re doing!”

“We ordered our kids mattresses and a super king bed and mattress. Ambi was very helpful in explaining the different types of beds and mattress and helped us get what we needed. The delivery was super quick and the guys made the bed and set everything up. I would definitely go back and recommend to everyone.”

“This was an incredibly positive experience. I came here for lunch today with five friends, which we booked online. The waiters were very attentive,friendly and talked through the menu which was fresh, featuring mainly local or UK-sourced ingredients. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. I loved the creative fusion and the clever multi-use of the space as both a local atelier and a restaurant. Definitely a five-star experience.”

“Really, really lovely pizza in the evenings. Possibly the best in the Crystal Palace / Penge / Beckenham area? Don't let the front of the shop fool you, there is a lovely dining area in the back with a live grape vine covering the ceiling. With the peak summer evening heat and some Europop being played it was almost like being on the Mediterranean! Seems like they prefer people to book in advance, but they accepted our unannounced group of five, and we all seriously enjoyed our food. Definitely going back.”

“I had the most amazing stay here for my birthday. The hotel was unique with stunning decor - highly unusual but brilliant. The hotel had made every effort to recognise the occasion - the room was aptly decorated with balloons and a handwritten message on the mirror. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was nice - a lovely buffet selection. My dietary needs were catered for (gluten/dairy free). The hotel is situated in Islington - a very short walk to the canal. A morning walk along the canal to Canary Wharf and back along the Thames Path was the best start to the day! There are some beautiful spots along the canal to stop for a coffee or bite to eat - these are within a 5 minute stroll from the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel - it made a really nice change to stay somewhere a little different/unique.”

“We purchased a very large u-shaped settee. The experience in shop was excellent with plenty of advice. Our order was managed very well with regular updates about manufacture & then delivery to us in s/w England. The delivery team were very professional & setup the settee quickly without any mess. “Have stayed here twice and have been blown away both times. Rooms are beautiful, great attention to detail with the treats in the room, everything is clean and the facilities available are fantastic. The Spa in particular was a wonderful experience, the staff are so warming and knowledgeable, and the massage was 10/10. The breakfast has a fantastic selection, proper quality ingredients and you can order cooked dishes off a menu if you wish. Will definitely be back. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, the staff are so friendly and will look after you. Was also very useful when I had a concert at the O2 as you could just go down this long corridor that connects to the O2, so no needs to go outside!”

“I was here for the first time for an early afternoon dinner. This is one of the pizzas I had in London.It’s real Italian and very tasty. The straciatella and spicy salami pizza is just the best. Burrata must be good but I will try that next time. The cocktails are also great. One of the few places which has campari spritz on their menu. The value is also good. If you’re coming for dinner at prime time you should book but otherwise you’re OK. I will be coming back.”

“Traditional Italian restaurant serving dishes as you would expect but also traditional street food from the region of Puglia. Service and staff were outstanding. The restaurant decor is stylish modern but a relaxing chiled out ambiance, especially in the evening when the lights are dim. There is 2 dinning areas the main area for parties of 4 or more then a side "hut" for parties of 2. This is better if you want an intimate less distracting meal with a friend or partner but can get cold in winter I assume due to the blankets that are available. The menus is made up of 4 main categories. Bites or starters which are small dishes. Shared plates you get a little more and order a few if you are not having a main dish. Bombetta - traditional Italian cured meats with cheese. Grills - main dishes. Everything on the menu was delicious without exception! The wine list is good but this can add up quickly to your total bill so have a drink before hand if you are feeling thirsty! All in all this is a hidden gem in the area and we'll worth a visit. I'll definitely come back to try other items on the menus as it all looked and tasted delicious!”

“Some of the dishes are exceptional and very close to the original in Thailand (taking into account Ingredients might be different). The starter snacks are super. Larb Gai tort (minty chicken balls), pik Gai tort (deep fried split wings marinated in fish sauce) and DIY noodles were amazing!!! The Khao Soy (northern style curried noodles) was delicious!!!! The Krapow was okay (yet to find a good one in London) but still tasty. The service is excellent. Worth a visit!!!”

Excellent service from Ahmed and Violetta, who looked after us personally and very efficiently throughout and couldn’t do enough for us to make out occasion smooth and enjoyable.
