“West and Hunter barbers on Chiswick High Road is the best men’s barber in Chiswick by far! I’ve lived in the area for 15 years and tried the others and won’t use anyone else. The salon itself is more like a West End members club with sofas and a bar (they even sell cigars!) and I’m always welcomed by name offered a drink when I arrive which is very welcoming and a lovely touch. The barbers are all excellent and understand what will work for me, which is really useful as I like to have styles recommended. On occasion I have had a facial too, which is a real treat as they are very good at them and leave me feeling a decade younger! My only sadness is that I can’t grow a beard to have them tend to it but I see their other customers having theirs done and they always look great. West and Hunter have turned a chore into a pleasure for me and I look forward to my next visit. If you’ve read this far you should try them yourselves, you won’t be disappointed. I have just seen all the awards they’ve been winning, well deserved!”

“Had a fantastic Sunday roast here with my family. Martin went out of his way to settle us into a great corner table, and our waitress was brilliant with the kids — patient, warm, and genuinely accommodating. The whole team struck the perfect balance of friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Food was spot-on: generous portions, perfectly cooked roast beef, crisp potatoes, and a Yorkshire pudding the size of a crown. The riverside setting under the glass roof just sealed the deal. Couldn’t ask for a better family Sunday.”

“As soon as we arrived straight away got an eye contact few seconds later we got seated given a choice of tables.. very professional welcome and friendly.. regarding food my son and I loved the pizzas .. tested fresh and delicious.. at one time my son wanted to see how chef is making our pizza.. the pizza chef took time to answer to my son questions that was wonderful experience.. and also we find out his name was Giuseppe.. I so satisfied.. totally.. and overwhelmed with this such experience.. well done chiswick.. I will back but this time with my entire family at Christmas. Keep up with good work”

“I love it when food is hearty, wholesome and just simply delicious. The still sizzling aubergine starter dish (like a parmigiana) was the best - hot , fresh and flavourful. My friend enjoyed her prawn salad v much (and she has a v discerning palate). My paella was nice - though I think if you order it best to go for a double/ 2 person portion as there’s more seafood and just looks more paella-ish and generous - it’s a dish for sharing really. And the tiramisu - lip smackingly good and loving the presentation. And can you see all the vanilla pod specks?! Quality and made fresh that day. Yum! Definitely going again. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service with outside area too.”

“The whole team was welcoming and attentive, Oana who assisted us during our lunch was very kind and friendly. The manager as well, touched based when we were leaving asking if I was feeling good since I mentioned a gluten allergy. I sincerely much appreciated it. The food was tasty, good presentation and balanced portion. Wine list very nice with different choices to match with the dishes. Maybe I would review the cocktails list and improve the making process but overall lovely experience. We will come back for sure and we recommend it to everyone.”

They were both absolutely wonderful and so kind, caring and compassionate and so hugely professional and they really did go the extra mile for us all. “Can’t get enough of this place: The perfect combination of great food, amazing service, and the perfect location. The food is far superior than your average pub; one could even say it’s gourmet. I suggest you try the steaks and a variety of their appetizers and wash them down with carefully crafted beverages. Always a pleasure to go here and you won’t be disappointed during the week or on weekends.”

“My favourite pub in London which as a Chiswick local I am blessed to have here. A Fullers pub run by Mike and his well picked team who really know what they are doing. Expect warm welcome, nice crowd of all sorts of Londoners coming together over a great selection of Fullers beers and great Thai food. There are unique guest ones on tap rotated often and they always have crisp cold Asahi larger to wash down the best Thai food in London. Dogs are welcome like all good London pubs, our have developed a taste of Thai food and as a result, they always drag us there. Thai restaurant at the back if you are not a dog lover and want a restaurant setting for your night.”

“We had a fantastic visit to The Pilot pub and couldn’t fault a thing. The ambience was warm and welcoming, our table was lovely, and the food and drinks were absolutely delicious. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the outstanding service from Chiedozie and his team — attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel looked after throughout our visit. “My company, SilverDoor, hired The Union to cater our 170+ guest event and I cannot fault the service we received. The team were incredibly responsive, supportive and knowledgeable in the planning process, and went above and beyond supporting us during the event itself. We ordered a range of sandwiches, wraps and baguettes, salads, quiches and desserts, all of which were delicious and prepared perfectly. The allergens were clearly stated and confirmed with us beforehand, and the food was presented beautifully. All our guests were blown away by the food! We also ordered tea and coffee, and The Union provided crockery, cutlery, and all additional things we needed without us even having to ask. The support they provided in the set up and pack down of the catering was a critical part of the success of our event – we really couldn’t have asked for a better event catering service. Clare, Anna, and Jani were amazingly helpful on the day, and I cannot recommend the team enough for events catering. Thank you!”

“As a team we have used the Clayton for 3 years now. A lovely hotel, with friendly, hard working staff where nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are ALWAYS extremely clean. A special mention goes out to Electra who always takes an interest in what we are doing and makes sure we are well looked after. But ALL the staff are second to none. I would definitely recommend staying here.”

“I honestly didn’t expect a manicure and pedicure to feel this good, but Urban Rose completely exceeded every expectation. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel comfortable and welcomed—professional, friendly, and clearly skilled at what they do. The men’s mani and pedi service was top-tier. They paid incredible attention to detail, cleaned and shaped my nails perfectly, and took extra care with calluses and dry skin. The foot soak and massage alone were worth the visit—super relaxing and surprisingly therapeutic. Everything was done with precision and hygiene in mind, which I really appreciated. “I come here a lot. The food is always brilliant, the new decor is lovely and there’s a nice, bona fide italian feel about the place. My only grievance would be that the music isnt fitting for the intended ambience. Jazz or some sort of ambient Italian music would work better”

“Family birthday celebration. My choice pork belly was possibly the best I have had. We were all extremely happy with our meals. Also two good ales to choose from. Service was very good although we had to wait a while to order due to it being a busy Sunday. Staff were very helpful and attentive. With drinks it was about £42 per person. We could of spent less but chose not to on this occasion.”

Lots of choice drinks and still reasonably priced compared to the others only for minutes away on the high road. I ate thee and was served by a super efficient barman/ waiter. Who was running the whole show along with the chef on Saturday afternoon. The sun hits the place the whole day round. What a gem”
