“An excellent restaurant with brilliant service and great sanitation. We felt looked after and safe the entire evening! Food was one of the best we have had in London. We got the aloo tiki chaat, papdi chat, salmon, shashlik and terichelly prawns for the starter and we were blown away by the authentic flavours. My favourite would have to be the aloo tiki chaat and the prawns. Everything tasted fresh and tender with perfectly balanced flavours. For the main meal, we got the methi gobi, chettinad, butter chicken and dal makhani with rice, naan and paratha; all were superb! There was a range of spice levels and something for everyone in the family, veg and non-veg. The portions were a great size and the presentation of the food and drinks made the evening even better. I am normally quite particular and uncompromising about food but I have never been so impressed. We will definitely revisit many more times in the future.”

An old man was just staring at me from his pint of I assume some guest ale, then averted his gaze when I stared back. Staff member who took my order was the newest, poor thing looked suitably overwhelmed. 10/10 would visit again..”

I ordered the halloumi souvlaki wrap, and it was packed with flavor—perfectly grilled halloumi with a slight crisp on the outside, fresh salad, and a deliciously creamy sauce, all wrapped in warm pita. The skin-on fries were crispy and well-seasoned, making them the perfect side. The staff was friendly, and service was quick despite a steady stream of customers. The homemade lemonade was also a highlight—refreshing and not too sweet. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Taverna In The Park for a casual, satisfying meal.
